Jesus Wept
“Jesus wept,” John 11:35
The situation behind the shortest verse in The Bible was the death of Lazarus.
Over the years, I’ve heard some teach that Jesus wept, because of the lack of faith from the people.
Jesus knew He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead, so why would He cry, unless it was because He was burden by the faithlessness displayed?
However, this is interpretation lacks much revelation.
You see, Jesus was in control of the entire situation: He purposely waited two extra days before traveling after being informed that Lazarus was sick.
He knew that Lazarus had already died when He decided to return to Judea, and Jesus knew He would resurrect him.
So why weep? Well, it’s simple…
One of the many reasons the Word became flesh and dwelt among us was to have “the human experience”.
This was the only way He could become the perfect mediator between mankind and the Creator/ Father:
He had to experience life and every thing and emotion that came with it.
Jesus felt the sorrow and heaviness of the people. His heart bore the burden that they felt for the loss of their loved one, and so, He wept with them.
That same Jesus still resides today. He feels our pain, He understands our burdens, He catches every tear.
He is called “The Man of Sorrows.” This is why Jesus stated that we are to come to Him; those who labor and are of heavy laden (burden), and He will give us rest (shalom).
He also said, “blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” And He reminded us that He will make our yokes easy, and our burdens light.
Jesus cares — but He won’t force His way into your life.
By Faith, you must give all your cares, worries, fears, burdens, and sorrow to Him, and trust that He will deliver, heal, and resurrect.
For He knows what’s best for you.

Bravo. That was a very good explanation of his sorrow.Jesus was and still is not to good or to GOD to identify with our emotions or weaknesses.
He’s able to laugh when we laugh and He’s able to weap when we weap.
Glory to GOD!!!
We’re also commanded by God to rejoice with those who are rejoicing and mourn with those that mourn. Thank you for this reminder. God bless you.
Good word, thanks for sharing. God bless!
