Jesus Wants You to Come Near
God wants closeness, not lukewarmness!
As a result, God issues a strong warning in Zephaniah to those who are lukewarm in their thinking, feelings, and beliefs of God.
“And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men who are settled in complacency, who say in their heart, “The LORD will not do good, nor will He do evil.” Zephaniah 1:12.
Some people were not strong in their faith and said that God will not do good or evil. They were on the fence. They did not care. Therefore, punishment is coming to those people as the verse states.
One of the ways God will punish is allowing people to be attacked by demons.
Paul said this as well in 1 Corinthians 5 when a man committed sexual sin and Paul said,
“deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh…” 1 Corinthians 5:5.
If there are people around you who are struggling, it might be because Jesus is allowing them to experience heavy spiritual warfare in order to turn them back to Himself.
Or as Paul said, “that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” (1 Corinthians 5:5).
So the purpose of this message, is to get you off the fence and run to Jesus.
You might find yourself experiencing decreased spiritual attacks and greater grace from God in your life. Both things will set you in the correct direction and allow you to live the best life Jesus has for you.
The Holy Spirit says: “I AM correcting you and correcting you fast. There is not a lot of time to waste.
You are to act quickly out of the things I have for you.
You are to see that I AM a good God and I want good things for you.
Do not be lukewarm. Either follow Me or don’t — but do not be in the middle for many things will come against you and I will allow it.
This is not because I AM mean, but this is because you have decided not to be in My presence and seek Me with all of your heart.
You are walking away. This is to bring correction to you.
Seek Me and find many good things.
But those who don’t will find that life is more difficult because they are walking away.
I will chase you, but you need to chase Me.
Come to Me all who are weary and allow Me to restore you. I want to reassure you and raise you up.
You are mine and I have many great things for you. You are My child and I will help you succeed in all things and I will give you the world and then some, for you know Me and partner with Me.
We will do mighty things together for we are one. You abide in Me and I abide in you.
That is how I designed it from the beginning.
Do not get lost in the things of this world, but get lost in Me.
Spend time with Me and allow Me to open your eyes to many wonderful things that I have envisioned for you.
I AM excited to see you come to Me and grow in Me for you are My beloved child.
I AM thankful for your praise and worship, for I adore you as I have created you and seated you in heavenly places with Me.
Now come to Me and run away from all the things that are pulling you away from Me.”

Praise and Glory to God the heavenly Father in Jesus Christ, the Holy Redeemer, Savior and Blessed Hope! God bless you, dear beloved brother Travis! A powerful word and message from God! I do understand and embrace, knowing we serve a loving Savior who desires a genuine, a beautiful relationship with His jewels individually, compassionate enough to reach out to us, despite how we’ve treated him at times by placing other things with high/top priority over him.
I love Jesus Christ very much and desire to pursue him with all of my heart, mind and soul. “Romans 12:1 – Matthew 23:37
I thank God for using you at such a time like this and the Lord is right, to settle or tolerate the lukewarm spirit is unacceptable, as I’ve been stagnant in my personal life, but receive the infallible Truth and Word of God, the heart of Jesus Christ through the message, for He does deserve all of us. God bless you, brother Travis!
