Jesus Wants to Give You Living Water

The Importance of Giving God Thanks!
I was in The Book of John, chapter 6, last night where he spoke about the miracle of Messiah with the five (5) loaves of bread and the two (2) fish and verse 11 grabbed my attention and I knew it was the Holy Spirit pointing something out.
It reads “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would”
If you notice, it was in the Messiah’s GIVING OF THANKS that the supply was increased.
This tells me that GRATITUDE also provokes God to move on our behalf.
Thanksgiving, is also an act of Faith.
The Hebrew word for Thanks is (todah), which means “gratitude.” or (hoda’ah) which means “acknowledgment” or “declaration.”
It can also refer to “giving thanks” or “thanksgiving”.
Giving thanks to The LORD is considered a Command!
The act of expressing gratitude to God is emphasized throughout the Scriptures, especially in the Psalms.
Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”
“O give thanks unto The LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to The LORD of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever…” Psalm 136:1-3
This reflects the importance of: gratitude as an obligation and a way to acknowledge God’s blessings and goodness.
I believe that it is imperative that we check our posture and attitude whenever we are dealing with the Almighty because we have become too FAMILIAR with Him. We MUST return to the foundation of Reverential Fear!
Oftentimes when we approach the throne of YAH all we do is complain which may offend God.
It signifies a lack of trust in Him, His plan and provision. Complaining reflects ingratitude for the blessings and provisions that God has given choosing rather to focus on the lack thereof.
In the Scriptures complaining is sometimes equated with REBELLION against God. For example, the Israelites’ complaints in the wilderness (Numbers 14:27) are depicted as acts of rebellion against God’s guidance and authority even invoking the SPIRIT OF THE WASTER.
Complaining can also be seen as DISRESPECTFUL to God’s sovereignty and wisdom. It implies that one’s personal judgment is superior to God’s, which is contrary to the humility and reverence expected in a relationship with THE MOST HIGH!
Brethren, we have to remember that we were created to WORSHIP and worship comes with respect and reverence.
I believe the Holy Spirit is teaching me that these are some of the reasons our prayers go amiss!
Just like there are earthly protocols there are also SPIRITUAL protocols…. Jesus Christ was on earth to teach us the way to the Father and He GAVE THANKS.
The act of Giving thanks is also proof of HUMILITY. Are we truly humble?
Are we treating God like a SUGAR DADDY transactional relationship that’s primarily with self-serving intentions, expecting to receive blessings, favors, or material wealth without reciprocating with genuine faith, devotion, or obedience?
Are we only thankful in abundance?
Let us think on these things……
Jesus is Passing Through
The man at the pool of Bethesda suffered much affliction for thirty eight years till Jesus showed up. Some of you have been held down by cynics, haters, witchcraft, sickness and diseases, financial deprivation, past hurts and traumas in the soul.
But I am here to announce that Jesus is passing through and there’s going to be Diving Intervention.
An encounter with the Master that’s going to change your life and cause you to RISE AGAIN glory to God… Jesus Healed this man on the Sabbath, I believe that for many God will break protocol just for YOU??
Declare : “I shall rise again,” in Jesus’ Name! Hallelujah!”
Focus on Your Assignment
Dear Prophet, NEVER aim to win the affection of men because the loyalty of human beings is shaky and unstable.
Focus on your assignment!
Sit at the feet of Jesus Christ the Messiah so knowledge may be imparted.
The Revelation Knowledge that you will need to set the captives free!
The Waste Places
Do not become Distracted!
The Potter’s wheel may not be uncomfortable and the Refiner’s Fire unbearable — but remain in the process.
The deliverance of your generation depends on the work being done by Christ in and with you
Jesus Wants to Give You Living Water
The Woman at the well in the book of John, chapter 4, had an unfulfilled longing, one that was far beyond the physical aspect of her life.
The Holy Spirit began to deal with me from this chapter….
As a Samaritan woman she was a social and religious outcast… Samaritans were descendants of Israelites who had intermarried with foreign settlers and they had different religious practices, including a separate temple on Mount Gerizim.
Her past sexual relationships more than likely made her the subject of harsh criticism, degrading and disgraceful discussions, on the lips of those who looked down on her, and an unmarried woman, which was a badge of shame and reproach so she was judged and condemned.
The fact that she was at the well alone would even suggest that she was even socially isolated as no one wanted to be in her company to be identified with her, she was humiliated.
Clearly we can see that this woman’s visit to the well has more of a spiritual meaning.
Like many of us there was a huge void in her life that needed to be filled. She was in a state of spiritual deficit for tho she was religious she had never had a genuine spike encounter.
She was confused with her true identity. Her history of broken relationships, having had five husbands and in a convincing relationship with a man likely led to a deep sense of rejection and a need for acceptance and belonging, she was searching for Love.
But at the well, Divinity met humanity and her life was transformed, never would she be the same again…
There are many of us who can identify with this woman.
Some might have experienced race or ethnic prejudice even from fellow believers, ostracized and faced bias because of where you are from, social and economic status (poor has no friends — Proverbs 14:20), treated with contempt and utter disregard because of your past, mistakes you made and and even current challenges, the proverbial black sheep of your family, prodigal son and the rejected stone.
I believe that Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit wants to minister to you.
He wants to reveal Himself to you in all His glory He desires to reconcile and heal you.
That “thirsting” in your soul He wants to fill. He wants to meet with you so you can draw from His Well, which is the inexhaustible source.
When Jesus says, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst,” He is speaking about the spiritual sustenance and eternal life that comes through faith in him.
This “living water” is the Holy Spirit, who dwells within to give you Life and that more abundantly and Eternally!
No more will you have to run around aimlessly looking for love and acceptance, resources in all the wrong places.
He wants to satisfy your soul. Everything you want and so desire is in Him!
Shalom
