Jesus Said: “I Never… Knew You!”
Let us look at the Scripture found in Matthew 7.
“Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? And in Thy Name have cast out devils? And in Thy Name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, “I never knew you! Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity!”” Matthew 7:21-23.
Notice that those who said they did many wonderful works, that Jesus said to them: “I never knew you!”
What Jesus was talking about, was that these people were professors or religionists… who only talked the talk.
There are many today in religion who do a lot of talking, but really do not know what they are talking about!
They are like the Pharisees who thought they were most spiritual of all. They were deeply offended when Jesus told them that they were of their father, the devil!
“No,” they said, “we are followers of Moses.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were of Moses, you would have known Me, for Moses spoke of Me.”
If a mouse accidentally and ignorantly gets trapped in the cookie jar, that does not mean he is a cookie! And, just because someone joins a “Church” or a religious movement, does not make them Christians either!
Another well known Bible story of a religious man who Jesus told that he was lost and not understanding, was Nicodemus.
Nicodemus was very religious, but Jesus told him that he would of necessity be born again.
“How is it Nicodemus that you are a ruler in Israel and do not know these things? Where is your spiritual understanding?”
Well, Nicodemus was only religious.
Another religious man who had to see the light to be saved was Saul. Saul was on the religious road to kill Christians, because he was convinced that the Christians were not of God!
Wow, was he ever wrong! When on the road to kill them in Damascus, Jesus had to appear to Saul and even knock him down. Shining light blinded the religious Saul. But Saul became Paul after the new birth and his conversion.
Just because men talk about casting out devils, and do many so called good works — does not make them Christians.
If a mouse accidentally and ignorantly gets trapped in the cookie jar, does not mean he is a cookie. And, just because someone joins a “Church” or a religious movement, does not make them Christian either!
Some years ago I was led by The LORD to move to eastern Idaho where I worked to start new Churches in areas heavy controlled by the Latter Day Saints or Mormons. Wow, was I ever shocked to find them very sincere and good people.
They talked a lot about Bible things, even said they believed in Jesus Christ and had beautiful Church buildings, but I soon found out what they meant by their talk was entirely different from the true Bible meaning.
Almost everything thy believed — and they used Bible words and terms in their teachings — I found out meant something else.
Like, The Gospel was not the good news gospel, and their Jesus was not the real Bible Jesus!
Saved did not mean what true Bible salvation means — matter of fact, they really believe all men are saved already — and the Church was not the true Church, but it was the restored Church founded by Joseph Smith (a professing prophet).
Hell was not hot, and was only for those who leave Mormonism and become unbelievers…, and heaven was not just one place, but three.
For some the Mormons are very convincing and have deceived many to believe they are true Bible believers, because they are so religious and serious.
Matter of fact, the Mormons put many evangelical Christians to shame in their mission work and even their everyday walk — in many instances. Literally, they evangelize their religion, while the true Church sits by and does nothing.
The Mormons tell the world they are Christians. If you did not fully know they are not, you may be led to join them!
I have even had them talk about healing of the sick. Did you know that in their doctrinal statement one point is: they believe in talking in tongues and The Holy Spirit?
But, the Mormons — if they truly believe what they say and teach — are no Christians!
Yet the do many wonderful works.
Matter of fact, one of their favorite writings is titled: “A Marvelous Work and a Wonder!” But it is not marvelous and it is not a wonder!
It is false and fakey-blake as a Jackalope — a so called cross between a deer and and a jackrabbit. A Jackalope is seen in pictures which have been faked and doctored showing a jackrabbit with deer horns!
And… The list goes on…
Jehovah Witnesses
Seventh Day Adventists
Church of Christ
Catholics
Lutherans
Methodist baptizing babies….
Etc, etc,
And many, many more!
Does, sincerity prove they are Christians?
Does, good works prove they are Christians?
Does religious works prove they are Christians?
Of course the answer is emphatically “No,” it does not!
Now, I have said all this to make a point here. It is most serious and I do not want you to miss this…
Are you ready?
Put on your ears please!
Many religionists are teaching that this verse of scripture teaches that a believing and even Christian worker, or a prophet, and maybe even a pastor, etc, will go to hell if they do not continue to do their works!
Is that true?
Did Jesus say that genuine born again believers who even minister the gospel truth, if they turn away will be lost?
Was Jesus talking to real Christians? Of course the answer must be no.
Jesus was not talking about real ministers who have done wonderful things, even cast out devils… going to hell.
Jesus said here: “I never knew them” and He went on to call them workers of iniquity.
Once again I want you to note this…
Many young unsuspecting believers who do not fully understand the scriptures and even salvation… are being led astray right on Facebook by false teachers, who say a true believer [if he sins or falls short in his life] will go to hell………. yet!
I speak to you, young Christian, who are just starting out, do not be deceived by these liars. They speak not the truth.
The truth is, Jesus said: “All that The Father gives Me and come to Me I will never cast out.”
Again He said: “In no wise will I ever forsake them. I give unto them eternal life and they will never perish, nor will they be condemned.”
* * * * * * *
I have taught this word in obedience to The Holy Spirit teacher.
LORD, I pray you help your misunderstanding believers by teaching them the Word of God with all diligence, and deliver them to the truth!

Phenomenal. Love it. Thank you.
Jesus was talking about the impostors and some are even paid infiltrators today. He was not talking to those who are True Called Out ones and have totally surrendered to Him and have given their hearts and lives to Christ.
