Jesus is Still Speaking Today
Good morning.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32.
Sometimes I believe we can get off track, with not seeing the deeper meanings of the Scriptures.
May we be willing to delve a little today?
You can read for yourself. John 8:1-11 (kjv)
Just because we have sinned, we are not ever to remain in that sin!
Jesus comes to give us life and to give it more abundantly.
The Truth will make us free!
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
That does not mean for us to be ‘holier than thou’, ever but to live with a standard of holiness.
The marriage bed is pure and undefiled but look at this scripture.
“Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrews 13:4.
Now see what happened after the woman had been exposed publicly by the cruel and self-righteous scribes and pharisees.
“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.“ John 8:10-11.
She was changed by the giver of life and set free that very day. This woman’s own conscious had convicted her also that day. She met truth and mercy that day!
By the way as many have asked where was the man?
Still today I want to stay on subject as much as possible.
Just how are there so many couples in leadership in our Churches, committing fornication and adultery today?
Shame on you! You are supposed to be representing Christ and His blood bought Church.
There is still a sanctity to marriage! In this topsy-turvy world, be the real deal.
You leaders, be an example the way God intended. Quit sinning and justifying yourselves.
Just let The LORD clean each one of us up if need be.
We don’t need to ever stay in the sin!
Written in love. God bless you all.
