Praise The LORD for this new beautiful day!

If there ever was a time to talk about how great Jesus is, it is now, and our foundations must be sure in Him.

Jesus Christ is Superior as High Priest…

Jesus Christ is superior as high priest to the priests of the Old Covenant (Old Testament).

He is superior, first of all, because He is LORD and God, as we have seen. He is our great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God.

Hold fast your confession today! He Alone can fully sympathize with our weaknesses. Thank you Jesus, we can come boldly to The Throne of Grace in time of need, and because you sit at The Right Hand of The Father, You intercede on our behalf.

Other priests are earthly, they are taken from among men. But Jesus is the one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus was made perfect through suffering and became to all those who obey Him, the source of Eternal Salvation.

The earthly priests offered sacrifices for the sins of the people and for themselves, but, He does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices for Himself and the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

He is the High Priest who is Holy, Undefiled, Separated from sinners, and Exalted above the Heavens! He is our Hope and the one who enters within the veil with His own Blood, not the blood of bulls and goats.

The sacrifice of these priests is only a covering until the next time they sinned. He went to The Cross and paid for our sins with His Blood once, for all past, present and future sins have been paid for in full, with the perfect pure Blood of Jesus.

God said to him, “Thou art My Aon, today I have begotten thee, Thou art a Priest forever, according to The Order of Melchizedek.”

Earthly priests, as sons of Levi, were appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. But, if perfection came through the Levitical priesthood according to The Law, why was there a need for another priest to arise according to The Order of Melchizedek, and not be designated to the order of Aaron?

Jesus’ priesthood was not based upon a physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life.

Because He abides forever, He holds His priesthood permanently! Jesus became High Priest with an oath through the one who said to Him “The LORD has sworn, and will not change His Mind, thou art a priest forever.”

Melchizedek was the king of Salem, meaning king of Peace, and he is the Priest of The Most High God. He is the one that Abraham met with after the slaughter of the kings and gave him a tenth of all his spoils.

He is the king of Righteousness, without father or mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like The Son of God, he abides a Priest perpetually. It is clear he was a Priest after a higher Order.

Our High Priest, Jesus Christ, has taken His Seat at The Right Hand of The Throne of the majesty in the heavens, and is a Minister in the Sanctuary and in the True Tabernacle, which The LORD pitched, and not man.

So, we see Jesus has obtained a more excellent Ministry by as much as He is also The Mediator of a Better Covenant which has been enacted on better promises.

God bless you all and bless The LORD oh my soul! Truly Jesus, You are the greatest in every way, and we love You.
