The LORD reminded me yesterday of when I was a little girl and we would visit my Grandma Mains upon top of what they called Elephant Hill Road.

The story was, that many years before a Circus came to town and while the Circus was in town, one of the Elephants that they used for tricks died, and that they buried him there on that hill, thus it became known as Elephant Hill.

The highest point of this Hill was directly across from my grandmother’s house. So, when we would go there we would sometimes go past a tall Water Tower which my cousins would swim in sometimes, and go beyond that and to the highest part of that Hill, because when we would get there we could see completely on the other side of town and we could see my Uncle’s house and beyond.

As children, we were so excited and amazed to see that we could see that far, just because we were up high and could look down.

I remember the first time I went there, I didn’t realize before that there was such a place beyond that Water Tower that I could see from my Grandmother’s front yard because I was always looking at it from a level place.

I said all that, to say what I felt The LORD was showing me through this, and what He wants you to know also.

There have been some of you (God’s kids) who have only been looking at your situations from your position.

You could see the Hill, or in some cases Mountains, but what you didn’t understand is that until you venture past certain obstacles, such as the Water Towers, and stand on top of that Mountain or Hill, you cannot see as far as God is about to show you!

I heard someone say once that:

“Some mountains are for us to speak to, and then some are for us to climb, so that when you get to the top, you can bring the Revelation that you have gained in that position, down to those who have not yet climbed it.”

I see many of you going past your normal view, as you press past the obstacles and get up to the top of that Hill.

The LORD said that it is going to take your child-like wonder to want to go beyond the normal view, but when you get to the top, you are going to see wonders that you never knew existed, in the next season of your life!

Yes, press past what you see with your natural eyes, and behold what God has for you to bring back down the Mountain!

“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”” Corinthians 2:9-10.
