It’s the Little Things God Does
I live in the countryside, so there aren’t any traffic lights and often the speed and pace of traffic is much slower.
On Friday afternoon I was going to pickup mail, but when I tried to shut my outside storm door, it wouldn’t close, so I had to slow down to figure out why… and fix it before I could leave.
I was driving to get the mail on a road that is the main road, so I have the right of way. I came to a 4-way intersection where the crossing traffic is supposed to stop at a stop sign.
As I’m approaching the intersection, out of nowhere, a red car flashed before me without stopping at the stop sign. It literally flew through the intersection!
I slowed down more than I was already driving and began thanking God, telling Him how grateful I am for His protection, mercy, grace, and goodness to me.
He then said, “It’s the little things that many people don’t realize are right in front of them, that I have put there for a reason, even the things that you sometimes think are hindering you.
I have put them there to help you in some way, whether its to help you grow, to slow you down, speed you up, protect you, whatever, I put it there for a reason.”
Then I realized for me, it was the door that wouldn’t close, that I had to fix, before I left, that I thought was hindering my leaving. But instead, God put it there to slow me down in leaving, so I didn’t have a car accident.
I don’t think that red car was going to stop for anything, it was flying!
So I’m grateful for that door and having to slow down to fix it before I left, so that I’m here today.
God is FAITHFUL AND TRUE TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.
Sometimes we forget the “LITTLE THINGS” God does, because we overlook them or don’t recognize how important they are in our lives, BUT it may be the LITTLE THINGS that saves your life!
God Bless You!

Remember Lot’s wife? I’m not her. I believe and want change for the Body of Christ to walk in the OBEDIENCE & HOLINESS OF GOD. That is the way, the truth, and the life of Christ that we are to want to be like in this season and in the days ahead. We need a relationship with our LORD NOW more than ever before. God has allowed me to minister all over the world through the internet, and in person through conferences, church services, and small groups. My heart is to see the Body of Christ walk in freedom that God means for them, so they can develop a deep intimacy with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I minister to others through prophetic words, and other gifts, bringing breakthrough and calling people into a constant pursuit of God’s Heart to actively hear God’s voice for themselves and others. I try to be the best servant of God that I can be, with lots of help from God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus.
Wow, this is a wonderful reminder for all of us. Thank you Sister.
Praise the Lord!
Thank you Beverley for sharing about the importance of little things. I’m so glad that you try to be the best servant of God that you can be. No point in being the best for God in big things and neglecting to be the best for Him in little things. You have encouraged me to be faithful in little because it shows God that I will be faithful in much. God bless.
Praise God! Bless you! Bev
