It’s Real Anyhow!
Being a person who has a serious mandate on their life, I have always to be walking in the Spirit so that nothing will be handled in the flesh.
Often, because of what I say or do, people may get offended, upset, attempt to sabotage my name or reputation, or try to pull me into an open display, to bring my character into question.
I recognize the plans attacks and strategies of the enemy. After all these years working in ministry, I do know when something is God or when it’s a setup by Satan.
I also discern the words, motives and attitude of people, plus, because I minister healing to people, I understand that there are circumstances sometimes going on, in which those who can’t see spiritually, just don’t know.
In the Body of Christ, there are persons who are dealing with hidden issues that unless God reveals them, you will jump to conclusions about some of their actions.
I deal with people concerning issues, behaviors and attitudes that cause different actions in their lives.
You would be surprise at the number of people in the Body of Christ dealing with mental issues that stem from situations that were never spiritually or professionally dealt with.
Some persons are dealing with medical diagnoses, mental and behavioral issues that, until they get deliverance, because it’s a spirit, or medication because it’s something off balance in their body, they will exhibit behavior that is mentally challenging. They may be happy one day, sad the next. They may quote scripture one minute and cuss you out the next.
You have to discern what is taking place beyond the surface. Some are closet addicts dealing with drug, alcohol or pill addictions that cause mood swings and behavioral problems.
Some are dealing with unresolved issues that have them going through emotional and mental mood swings, that if you’re not careful, will have you behaving in ways that are outside your character.
Some are operating in the spirit of offense, so they will take everything personally and will snap, crackle and pop on you at any indication of them thinking you’re doing something to them.
Knowing how to deal with people requires more than just having the ability to cast out spirits. We need the ability to also deal with their mindsets and behaviors and attitudes that needs to be corrected, so that they don’t get caught back up in the spiritual bondage again.
As a leader, I always recommend more education and knowledge concerning how to deal with people. Not only did I learn spiritual warfare, but I learned psychology and mental health.
Dealing with people with mind issues and you’re not equipped in both areas – spiritually and naturally – can be time consuming and tiresome and will cause you to give up on people without giving them the opportunity of being able to be made whole.
I always tell leaders, casting demons out is easy, but getting the mind change will take work.
I tell them, if you’re not able to do the aftercare, allow somebody else to come in and deal with them.
I have learned to stay in my lane. If I can’t help you, I will recommend somebody who will.
Good leadership is not about ego or control, but about making sure the people are properly cared for and getting the help they need!
