One of the mistakes that believer’s in Jesus make, is to think that simply because someone is a believer, it gives us the right to go into a relationship with them.

Calling it business relationship, marriage or ministry relationship, simply because we all mention the name Jesus Christ, does not give us a go ahead at all!

I have been a victim of this on all levels and yes, as a first hand witness, I tell you it can be deceptive and hurtful!

The basis for a solid, formidable and powerful relationship is hidden in this verse of the scriptures

“Now when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab, coming to meet him; and he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?”
And Jehonadab answered, “It is.”
Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot,“ 2 Kings 10:15.

Many people are a victim of this level of just taking people for face value, not discerning their hearts!

Yes no doubt that we are a family in Jesus Christ! I may not be able to choose who my family will be, but I definitely can choose who my friends can be in the family!

The only person permitted to be in your life is the one whose purpose and motives towards you are as right as your purpose and motives towards him!

Friend’s, if your heart is right with my heart as my heart is right with your heart, join my chariot!

It’s a heart-2-heart connection!
