It is Time to Dance like David Danced!
As I continue to pray for America and The Nations, The LORD has been taking me back to look at King David and how he learned to let The LORD be in charge of his affairs when he fled from Saul.
Even when Judah crowned him King, God was working out all of the details as He does for each of us as we move forward into our purpose.
As The LORD groomed him to be a leader, he learned the power of self-discipline. David came to understand that he did not have to fight his battles — God was his overseer and His supervisor.
As I pondered these Truths in the life of David, who began as a little shepherd boy, which in itself was a prophetic picture of guarding the sheep, even as The LORD guards his flock, I realized that The LORD is allowing the rebellious men who are in control in our country at this moment, to run their course.
The LORD alone is in control, but He is accomplishing two things at the same time.
He is not in a hurry, but He is teaching His own submitted children lessons in Faith, Joy, and Peace.
He is always on Time! His timing is perfect — never early and never too late — but in the meantime, we are learning what it means to Wait on The LORD and develop Patience.
One of my favorite teachers was Bob Mumford. God used him to write many words on my heart that got me through some trying times, especially when I was seeking Guidance and Direction.
One that has really helped me was from his book, “Take Another Look at Guidance“:
“When God fixes a fix to fix you, and you fix the fix before it fixes you, God has to fix another fix to fix you.”
Reflect upon the things that you need God to fix in your life that you’ve been trying to fix in your own power without success. That stuck in my heart and rises up any thing I try to fix something or make it happen.
“I say this to those who have ears to hear,” says The LORD of all, “My way always fosters Discipline, and as My People allow the pain of discipline, it yields the training needed to bare fruit that remains.
So as you go forth, take no thought of the temporary pain to the flesh and take hold of The Power of The Spirit, that will carry you through to Victory.”
The LORD continued to admonish me to remind all who are willing and obedient, “Beloved, always look to My Word for confirmation of My Unchanging Character and proof that I will carry out what I promise.
I call your attention to the witchcraft and manipulation that is taking place in The Nations — and specifically in America — at this time, and I exhort you to look at Samuel and his strong declaration to King Saul in 1 Samuel 15:23 that “Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and IDOLATRY.
My Face might be hidden at this time,” reminds The LORD of Glory, “but be assured, I miss nothing and everything is written down in My Book for history, is being recorded as the greatest attempt to destroy everything I created.
Now I announce to you, I AM releasing The Spirit of Joy to Me People as they receive My Plan to turn it all for good as I tip The Scales of Justice and Liberty.
I AM about to strike while the iron is hot!” says The LORD who is bringing Fire to burn up all the destruction of the enemy.
“Yes, it will be joy unspeakable, for I AM the God who holds the power of life and death.
I AM the one who creates good and destroys evil. Look up, your redemption draws nigh,” says the Redeemer of all.
“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of The LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:23 N KJV
As a former professional dancer, when I worship The LORD, I often liked to dance like David danced as He danced before God with all His might.
The author and composer of this song are unknown to me, but it has been spoken of as a picture of 2 Samuel when he was speaking to Michal.
I love the words to the song,
“When the spirit of The LORD moves in my heart, I will dance like David danced, I will dance, I will dance, I will dance like David danced.”
here] [Written By Linda Duvall, Phil Driscoll; Sung By Petra Band. Full lyrics
“Then David danced before The LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.” 2 Samuel 6:14
David actually was filled with Joy, because the Ark of God was returned to Jerusalem.
He was expressing his Joy as he leaped and rejoiced with all of his might to the disdain of his wife, Michal, who saw him dancing and despised his actions. She ridiculed him saying that he acted like he was a commoner.
But, nevertheless, David, stood firmly on his Faith. After all, David said, He owed everything He had to God.
I Will Dance Like David Danced!
Beloved, I believe we should stop right here and relate to this timely example that stands out to me today, as a picture of the actions we are witnessing in our world today.
From the bottom of my heart, I tell you sincerely, I can testify of the goodness of God and I can speak David’s words to you as well, “I owe everything I have, and all that I am, to The LORD, my Savior. What about you?”
I Prophesy to you today that the spirit of the world has caused many to lose honor and give honor where honor is due.
It has caused me to give up hope, when they once knew that Jesus is our only Hope!
I say to you prophetically, that God is giving great Grace for Repentance and His Mercy is abounding each morning to repent and turn from sin.
I also am praying, that those who have abandoned Hope, will receive The Spirit of Repentance and Grace and repent and receive Hope and Restoration in Jesus’ Name.
“Now as the ark of The LORD came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before The LORD; and she despised him in her heart.” 2 Samuel 6:16
“Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” 2 Samuel 6:20
“So David said to Michal, “It was before The LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of The LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before The LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.”” 2 Samuel 6:21-22
As I continue to ask for The Nations, I often sing a song, penned by Sister Gwen Shaw that I sang when I took my vows as an End-time Handmaiden, “I Ask for the Nations”.
Won’t you sing it with me today? Add your nations as you sing this powerful prayer!
I ask for the Nations, I call them by name,
I ask for the Nations in Jesus name,
I ask for America, I call it by name,
I ask for America in Jesus name.
Restore the red, white, and blue,
To our liberty anew,
Restore our history and our values to you
I ask for AMERICA, I call it by name,
I call for her honor in Jesus name.
“I stop to praise you seven times a day, all because your ways are perfect! There is such a great peace and well-being that comes to the lovers of your Word, and they will never be offended.” Psalm 119:164-165 TPT

Sandi, This is a beautiful Word with so many layers of gold nuggets that we must read and reread and allow to sink deep into our hearts. The music was so encouraging as was meditating on this Word after a hard few hours at the grocery store. Shopping is not for the faint of heart at a certain age, I am struggling. smile. Have reposted this Word and will print and reread it. I so appreciate Jesus in you and your Words always touch the heart even if I do not always comment. Love in Jesus, Patricia
Hello Patricia, Thanks so much for your kind words and wonderful evaluation of what the Lord is speaking to us in this time when praise and worship and joy are our must valuable weapons. Groceries go up in price daily it seems. As you said, not for the faint of heart. I appreciate the encourage as I am endeavoring to finally finish my ‘heart’ book. God bless you abundantly, Sandi

Song echoes from Missouri with you as end time handmaiden
Dear Noel, Greetings! Thank so much for your input! Many blessings, Sandi Holman
Dear Sandi I thank the Lord Jesus for your beautiful heart for the Lord and His creation. As I read this very deep and timely Word from the Lord I felt the pain he has for what is being recorded in the Book of History about the greatest attempt to destroy everything He created. I remember one of your Postings “June is setting the Pace,” where the Lord wrote that He is putting a song in our heart and just a few days ago I woke up singing the song “Fire of your Love” by Paul Wilbur all day long. Today as I read this Word I am excited about “it is time to dance like David danced.” this brought much joy back to me because I worhip Him in the dance and I love it that as we dance for Him He dances with us. There is so much sadness in this world that we needed this word so much to bring us back to our first love. Blessings to you and loved ones.
Dear MF. I appreciate your very kind words..I so want to have His beautiful heart. I love the expressive song “Fire of the Love” that the Lord put in your heart. What a confirmation..thank you so much for sharing that with me. We are truly coming into a time to shout to the Lord and sing and dance. I used to write about Him saying, “May I have this dance for the rest of your life” when I first came back to the Lord after losing my dancing school and so many things..HE IS SOOOOO GOOD! Indeed He is bringing us into a very special intimate time with Him. I receive that blessing and I so value your confirmation more than words can say. In His love I send blessings, Sandi
You might enjoy the version of that song by Joshua Aaron too.
Thanks rsg..I will check it out! Sandi
