It Is No Longer I Who Live,
but It Is Christ Who Lives in Me!

 

In 2 Corinthians 13:5, the apostle Paul asks the Corinthian believers a question: “Do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?”

Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? — unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

In this scripture, the apostle Paul asks the Corinthian believers a question: “Or do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?”

Beloved, Paul wasn’t saying this simply as a figure of speech. He was actually telling them to understand that Jesus was literally dwelling inside of them.

Great changes are taking place all around the world right now. I would like you to pause with me for a moment and think about this one thing.

Intimacy with Jesus changes everything. He changes not. He will always change our hearts if only we allow Him to. He has given us His Authority but it is our responsibility to carry out that authority.

We are always in a process of change! We are becoming more like Him as we yield to the process. His purifying process is personal and purposeful for it determines what is in you.

I keep hearing The Voice of The LORD say to me, “The Angels of The LORD encamp round about those who fear Me and they are part of My Rescue Squad.

They are staging a comeback for every single setback and trial that has taken place to prepare you as together we shall create a dramatic climate change that will get the attention of the whole world,” says The LORD.

The LORD showed me this in a vision, as I saw a whiteboard and a room that said “Classroom”. I heard the voice of The LORD say “I sing in your circumstances to show you things that need to be corrected.

Your circumstances are revealing your motives and right or wrong attitudes, as I see how you are interacting and reacting to what is happening.

Call on Me and listen carefully as I AM revealing this to teach you the way of Wisdom.

I long to see you take hold of My Instructions and receive My Correction with humility, for it is time to run and not be weary and walk and not faint.

The enemy has come to weaken your strength in every attack on your Body, Soul and Spirit. I have come to the Classroom today to bring you to a final Victory and Restoration.

In this late hour, when many keep saying with deep regret, I AM coming from behind and it is really late. I AM showing up in obscure places where you never thought you would see me, but I AM omnipresent.

I love when you ‘host’ My Presence, but I say to you, I AM ever present in you and with you.

I have brought you this far through all your life’s journey amid confusion and roller coaster rides to fulfill your purpose and bear fruit.

Know this, I AM creating in those who are willing a desire to be honest with themselves and their fellowmen in all areas of their life, because true Honesty of Heart will bring belief and break the power of unbelief.

It will also lead to deep Repentance as you humble yourself before Me.” promises The LORD of all.

A couple of days ago, as I was waiting on The LORD in my prayer time, I heard Him speak these Words “Because I live, you also will live. I AM in My Father, and you are in Me, and I AM in you.”

He went on to say, “I AM not on the outside looking in. I sent The Holy Spirit to carry out My Word and He is your Helper.

Stop and remember that when you invited Me to come into your heart, I came in and I live in you and I AM with you all the time.”

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? — unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” 2 Corinthians 13:5.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.

I say this to you today to tell you, The LORD spoke to me that it is the same today — that many believers quote the scripture, but they have not come to the knowledge of the truth, because if they had they would be doing the things Jesus did.

“Only believe” is an instruction that carries out the scripture : “The Just shall live by Faith….”

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”” Romans 1:17 KJV.

“This treasure in earthen vessels” 2 Corinthians 4-7

Because the God who said,

“Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7.

In verse 7, the apostle Paul describes the believers as earthen vessels that contain this treasure.

What is this treasure? Verse 6 is very specific we see the treasure is Jesus Christ, in whose face we see the glory of God.

Christ lives in us earthen vessels as a precious treasure, revealing the glory of God to us from within.

“It is Christ who lives in me…..” Galatians 2:20b.

“I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20.

Here, Paul did not say, “I live in a Christ-like way.”

No, he said, “Christ… lives in me…” clearly showing us that Christ lives in His believers.

The Christian life is not a matter of trying to act like Christ, but of allowing Him to live in and through us because He lives in us.

Christ is formed in you….

“My children, with whom I travail again in birth until Christ is formed in you.” Galatians 4:19.

Just as a woman travails, or labors, in childbirth to bring forth a child, Paul viewed the believers in Galatia as his spiritual children.

He delivered them through His labor in the gospel, helping them to receive The LORD Jesus as their Savior.

The he continued to labor with them just like a Father.

And so it is, Jesus Christ lives in us from the time we’re saved, but He wants to be formed in us in a definite way by growing in us.

Day by day, we need to give Him the opportunity to grow and be formed in us. As we do, Christ will be able to express Himself more fully through us in day by day.

He asks us to listen and turn our ear to him morning by morning. Yes He makes His home in your hearts through faith that you may be rooted and grounded in love as it says in Ephesians 3:17.

“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,” Ephesians 3:17.

Beloved, We must remember our heart includes our mind, emotion, conscience and our will.

The LORD never desired to just drop in or visit our heart like a guest visits a hotel. He desires our heart to be His home where he freely abides and moves.

Know that He is Christ in you, the hope of Glory according to Colossians 1:27.

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27.

I leave you with this one thought today with a hope that you will see yourself just as The LORD sees you as you engage with the world and as you interact with those He sends you to.

You are someone’s hero! I heard you say, “What?”

You are someone’s champion, coach, cheerleader or perhaps someone’s comfort, someone’s anchor when their ship is in deep troubles waters, and yes — you are someone’s angel when you show up unexpectedly as an Angel — unaware… you are a difference maker, JUST BY BEING YOU!
