In the article titled; “Issachar Arising: The Labor Force Of The Kingdom”, we looked at the character of the Issachar Tribe — those called to steward the revelation of the will and doings of The LORD Jesus Christ.

In addition to the foundation laid in that article; the Issachar anointing and nature of Christ is one that encapsulates both the apostolic and prophetic anointing in one.

The Scriptures reveal the sons of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32 as those who had understanding of the times and of the actionable leads from The LORD.

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do,” 1 Chronicles 12:32a KJV.

The Apostolic anointing and calling is set to contend for and steward the governmental authority of a region.

The Apostles are sent to break through new grounds, pull down strongholds, redeem the governmental authority and hoist The Flag Of The Kingdom Of The LORD Jesus Christ in new regions and territories.

As the parable Of The LORD Jesus Christ reveals; they are sent to pull down the strongman so we can come in and plunder his goods [redeem souls of men] in new territories.

“No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house,” Mark 3:27.

As Apostles advance and gain new territories to the Glory Of The LORD Jesus Christ; the ministry of the prophets become activated.

The Prophets contend for and obtain the revelation of the prophetic destiny and ordinances of that territory now conquered.

The Prophet Moses was called up by The LORD to obtain the law and ordinances for the nation Israel that had been redeemed from bondage; because it was now time for a cultural revolution necessary to steward the inheritance of the promise land.

So also, the prophets come in to contend for and unpack the revelation of the prophetic destiny and ordinances of the territories being conquered.

Through the ministry of the prophets; the righteous destiny of regions is revealed and the ordinances that reveal the moral code required for the fulfillment of the prophetic destiny of the region.

This pattern is revealed in the Nehemiah and Ezra.

Nehemiah stood contending against the strongmen, so they could advance and enforce the right to build; while Ezra rose up stewarding the revelation of the books of the prophetic destiny [law] and the ordinances for the nation of Israel; to lead a righteous cultural revolution necessary to steward the promise.

“Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) that Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?” Nehemiah 6:1-3 KJV.

Ezra stood began discipling the people, to lead a cultural revolution so that through the teaching of the ordinances of righteousness, the people will regain the righteous vision of The LORD for Israel and be established in righteous character required for the fulfillment of that vision.

“And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which The LORD had commanded to Israel,” Nehemiah 8:1 KJV.

This is the mystery of the dual apostolic and prophetic anointing that the Issachar tribe is blessed with.

By character and destiny; they are revealed in Genesis 49:14-15 as strong contenders and laborers in The Kingdom; stewarding the apostolic character and anointing for the conquest of lands and territories.

“Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute,” Genesis 49:14-15 KJV.

By assembling in their genealogy; they are revealed as men of prophetic revelation and understanding.

in 1 Chronicles 12:32 KJV as,

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do….”

The advance into new territories by The Body Of Christ requires the foundational labor of the apostles and prophets.

The apostles advance to pull down strongmen and gain governmental authority; the prophets receive and steward the revelation and ordinances for these territories and lead a cultural revolution.

This gives an insight into what the Scriptures reveals that The Body Of Christ is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in The LORD,” Ephesians 2:19-21 KJV.

The LORD Jesus is raising and calling for an Issachar tribe to arise; for on the effective ministries of these; much territories will be redeemed and gained in the seasons ahead.

The trans-reformation [coined from transformation and reformation] of cities and regions rest on the foundational work of the apostles and prophets.

This is the Issachar calling.

This is the the call for divine relational alignments.
