Prayer for Israel & My Country
Thanks be to you, our Father in Heaven; and to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour; and to the Holy Spirit, our Helper and Comforter;
Holy, Holy, Holy are You, Lord God Almighty; who was, and is, and is, to come!
We join the angels in heaven above, and declare the glory of the risen Lord; the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the God of all!
We praise you for the splendour of Your majesty, and declare that the whole earth is filled with Your glory!
Blessed be the name of the Lord, our God of grace, mercy and righteousness forever and ever!
The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people; for it is He who leads us to triumph, in His power and His glory.
Let your kingdom come and your will be done, on earth as in heaven, O’ Sovereign God!
We declare that we are your children and You are our God.
We re-submit ourselves to You afresh in unreserved obedience; and declare that You alone are the God we love and the God we worship, all the days of our life.
We declare that Jesus Christ is the centre of all things in our life, our High and Exalted God. You hold in Your own power, our breath of life and all our destiny. Every trial that You allow to happen is a platform on which You will reveal Yourself, showing Your love and power, both to us and those looking on. We praise You for Your sovereignty over the broad events of our life and over every detail, and over each individual in all the world.
May You be glorified in us, through us and around us, we pray; and bring honour to Your name.
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
You are our strong Shelter in times of trouble and danger, our Shepherd who guides and protects us. You are our Champion who upholds our cause as His child and defends our highest interests, our Bridegroom who delights in us, our God who is mighty to save. You are our inheritance, our share in life who satisfies our longing in our soul with goodness. We praise You, Lord, for Your eternal glory these things that are piling up for us as we choose to trust You.
We testify and declare that we overcome Satan through the blood of Jesus, and we are redeemed out of the hand of devil. Through the blood of Jesus, all our sins are forgiven. Through the blood of Jesus, we are continually cleansed from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, we are justified, made righteous, just as if we have never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus, we are sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. Through the blood of Jesus, we have boldness to enter the presence of God. The blood of Jesus cries out continually to God in heaven on our behalf.
In the mighty name of the Lord, we proclaim that everything we bind on earth is bound in heaven; and everything we loose on earth, is loosed in heaven.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)
Let your angels go before us and make the crooked places straight.
“Let us watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that we do, be done with love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)
You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. You are El-Shaddai, the God of more than enough, who lovingly provides for all our needs.
Your grace is sufficient in our weakness; the power of God is perfect in our weakness.
Thank You, Lord, that many a time our weaknesses cut through our pride and help us walk humbly with You, that in Your infinite wisdom, You have allowed these things to happen in our life so that they may contribute to Your high purposes for us.
We proclaim on behalf of Israel that “He who scattered Israel is gathering him, and will keep him as a Shepherd keeps His flock.” (Jeremiah 31:10)
We pray that all the attempts of those who hate Zion, those who hate Zion’s church and who seek to persecute and ruin the church of God be frustrated and confounded in the name of Jesus! “Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as grass upon the housetops, which withers before it grows up.” (Psalm 129:5-6)
“Destroy, O’ Lord, and divide their tongues!” (Psalm 55:9)
We pray on behalf of Israel that the sceptre of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous.
We proclaim that “the Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make Israel His people.” (1 Samuel 12:22)
“We sing in gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise and say. O’ Lord, save your people, the remnant of Israel!” (Jeremiah 31:7)
We endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.
“We count it joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. But we let endurance have its perfect work that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James: 12-4)
“Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the people to no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever; the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:8-12)
The fear of the Lord shall deliver us out of the hand of all our enemies.
“Let the leaders of the nations be just, and let them rule by the fear of the Lord.” (2 Samuel 23:3)

We pray for unity in spirit and for strength. We pray for guidance, breakthrough and revelation. Grant your servants with enlightenment, wisdom, understanding and discernment, O’ Lord! Let those who have ears, hear; and those who have eyes, see.
Let Your grace abound toward your servants, that each will have sufficiency in all things and abound to every good work.
We pray for your blessings and favour upon your sheep, O’ Lord. Let their barns be full and their presses burst with new wine.
Anoint the head of your servants with oil, O’ Lord, and fill their cup to the overflowing.
Let Your peace go with them, gracious God. May Your people achieve the purposes of your calling. Let salvation and righteousness bear fruit, we pray.
Not that we are already perfect, but we press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus because He has made us His own.
To You, O’ Lord, be the glory and the honour and the dominion forever and forever.
Amen!
