Is There More to This Life?
There’s a question many are asking in their hearts: “Is there more to this life?”
I often asked this question to counsellors who were meant to have understanding of “What is my mission? Why am I here?”
I never received an answer.
I simply went deeper into depression and existential confusion. I felt alone, isolated and scared.
I went down dangerous rabbit holes on my journey to find meaning, and It was simply the quiet voice of Jesus that broke off every question I had, and I suddenly knew I had been created to be more!
I knew I was loved. I knew there was a creator — and I knew my life had just begun with a new hope!
The voice I heard was, “Pride goes before a fall — be prepared!”
I had decided in 2011 to find ‘religion’. I was stuck in a place of depression and fear.
I had daily terrible experiences of demonic origin. I was terrified. There are so many ‘normal’ people who hide these experiences.
They feel alone, but I can tell you now, you are not!
I was warned by Jesus to come out of finding these experiences, and to find answers through The Word of God.
I repented, and after a few weeks I realised how loved I am by Jesus.
He started to speak to me through many ways that He knew I could understand. He was patient with me. He has never left me nor forsaken me since.
The LORD is alive! He is real! He is watching over you! He loves you and, He will answer your every question if you listen.
If you are feeling scared, alone, hopeless or worse, you can ask Him if He’s real — and He will answer — if you listen!
I painted this picture many years before I found my God — I was seeking even then.
An 18 year old who had questions in my heart before I knew.
This painting is so biblical in its message, yet I thought it was “just a picture”.
The Living Stones, the Waters of Life, the Fishers of Men and The Holy Spirit hovering above all this creation!
God has been speaking into your life from day one.
I pray you see those messages that reveal he is, and has always been with you, even in the hardest times.
“And behold I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Mathew 28:20.
