Joel 1

“THE WORD of The LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. Hear this, you aged men, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land! Has such a thing as this occurred in your days or even in the days of your fathers? Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation,” Joel 1:1-3.

From Coffman’s Commentary:

“That disaster which so long ago brought fear and despair to a portion of the earth’s population was a type of the final and eternal judgment that shall overwhelm all men; and significantly, many other such natural disasters since that time (as well as before that time) should be understood the same way!

We must therefore reject the superficial interpretation of the final paragraph of this chapter (Joel 1:15-20) which views it merely as Joel’s foolish fear that the end of time was at hand.”

All of Joel is warning people about their need to draw closer to God in Repentance.

In this first part, there has been a devastating plague of locusts, stripping everything bare in hours and causing devastating famine and economic disaster.

God’s future Judgments will make this minor, compared to the final Judgments coming on the earth.

“What the crawling locust left, the swarming locust has eaten; and what the swarming locust left, the hopping locust has eaten; and what the hopping locust left, the stripping locust has eaten. Awake, you drunkards, and weep; wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the [fresh] sweet juice [of the grape], for it is cut off and removed from your mouth. For a [heathen and hostile] nation [of locusts, illustrative of a human foe] has invaded My land, mighty and without number; its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and it has the jaw teeth of a lioness. [Revelation 9:7-8]” Joel 1:4-6 AMP.

We call the lion the king of the jungle, for good reason, but here we see how something so small can cause more wide range devastation.

So Joel compares it to the jaw teeth of a lioness, because the lioness is the true hunter in the case of lions.

There is a reference to Revelation 9 so here it is….

“Then the fifth angel blew [his] trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth; and to the angel was given the key of the shaft of the Abyss (the bottomless pit). He opened the long shaft of the Abyss (the bottomless pit), and smoke like the smoke of a huge furnace puffed out of the long shaft, so that the sun and the atmosphere were darkened by the smoke from the long shaft. Then out of the smoke locusts came forth on the earth, and such power was granted them as the power the earth’s scorpions have. They were told not to injure the herbage of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only [to attack] such human beings as do not have the seal (mark) of God on their foreheads.
They were not permitted to kill them, but to torment (distress, vex) them for five months; and the pain caused them was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a person. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it; and they will yearn to die, but death evades and flees from them.
The locusts resembled horses equipped for battle. On their heads was something like golden crowns. Their faces resembled the faces of people. They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.” Revelation 9:1-8 AMPC.

Thus Joel was prophesying of this time…

“Their breastplates (scales) resembled breastplates made of iron, and the [whirring] noise made by their wings was like the roar of a vast number of horse-drawn chariots going at full speed into battle. They have tails like scorpions, and they have stings, and in their tails lies their ability to hurt men for [the] five months. Over them as king they have the angel of the Abyss (of the bottomless pit). And Hebrew his name is Abaddon [destruction], but in Greek he is called Apollyon [destroyer]. The first woe (calamity) has passed; behold, two others are yet to follow,” Revelation 9:9-12 AMPC.

I looked up Scorpion Venom

“Scorpion venom may cause severe medical complications and untimely death if injected into the human body.
Neurotoxins are the main components of scorpion venom that are known to be responsible for the pathological manifestations of envenoming. Besides neurotoxins, a wide range of other bioactive molecules can be found in scorpion venoms.“

“Local pain is often the first symptom of scorpion envenoming, which may set in only minutes after a sting has occurred. Depending on the scorpion species, the symptoms can progress to severe complications over the course of a few hours. Inducing a massive release of neurotransmitters, scorpion venom neurotoxins usually cause sweating, nausea, vomiting, hypersalivation, restlessness, and, in more severe cases, arrhythmia, unconsciousness, and heart failure, which may lead to death.” [^©MDPI]

I heard one doctor say today that the bio-weapon not only used snake venom; but also various spiders’ venom.

A lot of people have speculated on what these locust in Revelation might be, but they seem to be spirit entities because they come up from the abyss.

“It has laid waste My vine [symbol of God’s people] and barked and broken My fig tree; it has made them completely bare and thrown them down; their branches are made white. [Isaiah 5:5, 6.]” Joel 1:7 AMP.

Today in a video I heard Kathy Gifford talk, on Eric Metaxis’ program, about how the fig tree in Israel represents the Pharisees and Saducees, and how Jesus did NOT curse the fig tree itself, but it was a representation of what it stood for.

However, The Bible says the next day it was withered [Mark 11:12-19]. So it was a demonstration of what would happen to the order of the priesthood!

Though the real tree withered, the curse was meant as judgment for the pharisees not having any fruit in their lives.

“And now I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten and burned up; and I will break down its wall, and it shall be trodden down [by enemies]. And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned or cultivated, but there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it,” Isaiah 5:5-6 AMPC.

Wow, severe judgment if the hedge is removed! And He says it will be trodden down by enemies!

It will NOT be pruned or cultivated. So, no food or pruning, so that it may not grow. Instead, only briars and thorns.

“Lament like a virgin [bride] girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth [who has died]. The meal or cereal offering and the drink offering are cut off from the house of The LORD; the priests, The LORD’s ministers, mourn. The field is laid waste, the ground mourns; for the grain is destroyed, the new juice [of the grape] is dried up, the oil fails. Be ashamed, O you tillers of the soil; wail, O you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley, because the harvest of the field has perished. The vine is dried up and the fig tree fails; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple or quince tree, even all the trees of the field are withered, so that joy has withered and fled away from the sons of men,” Joel 1:8-12 AMP.

The barrenness decree is punishment for the barrenness of the soul that rejects God, and fails to worship and obey Him sadly.

“Gird yourselves and lament, you priests; wail, you ministers of the altar; come, lie all night in sackcloth, you ministers of my [Joel’s] God, for the cereal or meal offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your God,” Joel 1:13 AMP.

The italic part in NKJV says, you who minister to My God! How do we minister to our God? By surrendering, and worshiping Him.

“Gird yourselves and lament, you priests; wail, you who minister before the altar; come, lie all night in sackcloth, you who minister to my God; for the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your God,” Joel 1:13 NKJV.

Now Joel moves to end times day of The LORD…

“Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land in the house of The LORD, your God, and cry to The LORD [in penitent pleadings]. Alas for the day! For the day of [the judgment of] The LORD is at hand, and as a destructive tempest from the Almighty will it come. [Zephaniah 1:14-18.]” Joel 1:14-15 AMP.

“The great day of The LORD is near — near and hastening fast. Hark! the voice of the day of The LORD! The mighty man [unable to fight or to flee] will cry then bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the blast of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the high towers and battlements,” Zephaniah 1:14-16 AMPC.

Zephaniah 1 also talks about the judgment coming on the earth.

“Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God? The seed [grain] rots and shrivels under the clods, the garners are desolate and empty, the barns are in ruins because the grain has failed. How the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed and huddle together because they have no pasture; even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment (are forsaken and made wretched). O Lord, to You will I cry, for the fire has devoured the pastures and folds of the plain and the wilderness, and flame has burned all the trees of the field. Even the wild beasts of the field pant and cry to You, for the water brooks are dried up and fire has consumed the pastures and folds of the wilderness and the plain,” Joel 1:16-20 AMP.

I just talked to a brother in Kenya the other night, and he said they’d been in drought a long time, and that even the animals were dying, because everything is dried up.

It made me cry, because this is related to what we all are going through for the wicked governments went along with the plans of WEF, WHO etc. to destroy people.

And then, not so accidentally, tonight, I saw a video of a lion dying, just as the people who are having sudden death from the bio-weapons died. The lion seizured and shook, then passed out dead.

Apparently they had also vaccinated all the animals they could, too! 😕

Joel 2

“BLOW THE trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on My holy Mount [Zion]. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of [the judgment of] The LORD is coming; it is close at hand – [Ezekiel 7:2-4; Amos 5:16-20.]” Joel 2:1 AMP.

“Also, son of man, thus says The LORD God to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land. Now is the end upon you, and I will send My anger upon you and will judge you according to your ways and will bring upon you retribution for all your abominations.
And My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring recompense for your evil ways upon you, while your abominations are in the midst of you [calling down punishment from a righteous God]; and you shall know (recognize, understand, and realize) that I am The LORD,” Ezekiel 7:2-4 AMPC.

As I read further… in a different version:

“Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof,” Ezekiel 7:11-12.

“Therefore thus says The LORD, the God of hosts, The LORD: There shall be wailing in all the broad ways, and in all the streets they shall say, Alas! Alas! And they shall call the farmers to mourning and such as are skilled in lamentation to wailing. And in all vineyards there shall be wailing, for I will pass through the midst of you, says The LORD. Woe to you who desire the day of The LORD! Why would you want the day of The LORD? It is darkness and not light; It is as if a man fled from a lion and a bear met him, or went into the house and leaned with his hand against the wall and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of The LORD be darkness, not light? Even very dark with no brightness in it?” Amos 5:16-20 AMPC.

Therein is a lesson for the prophets who are not like Moses, who was the most humble man — for he went back up the mountain and fasted another 40 days, something most of us would not do in this age, when his people had transgressed.

The prophet who sees Judgment coming, hears it is coming should NOT be like JONAH. But more like Abraham or Moses.

“A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and of thick mists and darkness, like the morning dawn spread upon the mountains; so there comes a [heathen, hostile] people numerous and mighty, the like of which has never been before and shall not be again even to the years of many generations.
A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yes, and none has escaped [the ravages of the devouring hordes].
Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, and like war horses and horsemen, so do they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains they leap–like the noise of a flame of fire devouring the stubble, like a mighty people set in battle array. [Revelation 9:7, 9 – see above]
Before them the peoples are in anguish; all faces become pale. They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war. They march each one [straight ahead] on his ways, and they do not break their ranks. Neither does one thrust upon another; they walk every one in his path. And they burst through
upon the weapons, yet they are not wounded and do not change their course.
They leap upon the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up on and into the houses; they enter in at the windows like a thief.
The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining. [Revelation 9:2-4; 16:14.]” Joel 2:2-10 AMPC.

“For really they are the spirits of demons that perform signs (wonders, miracles). And they go forth to the rulers and leaders all over the world, to gather them together for war on the great day of God the Almighty,” Revelation 16:14 AMPC.

“And The LORD utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and [they are] strong and powerful who execute [God’s] word. For the day of The LORD is great and very terrible, and who can endure it? [Isaiah 26:20, 21; 34:1-4, 8; Revelation 6:16-17.]” Joel 2:11 AMPC.

This always bothered me, calling it The LORD’s army, but He does use demonic beings to carry out His judgments often.

Thus whirlwinds, tornadoes, etc often are of demonic origin, and witches and warlocks also call upon these powers to cause havoc.

Thus we have to pray when we see such things coming, if it is The LORD’s will or that of the enemy so we know how to pray.

“Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the [Lord’s] wrath is past. For behold, The LORD is coming out of His place [heaven] to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also will disclose the blood shed upon her and will no longer cover her slain and conceal her guilt,” Isaiah 26:20-21 AMPC.

“And they called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on (before) us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne and from the deep-seated indignation and wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of His wrath (vengeance, retribution, indignation) has come, and who is able to stand before it?” Revelation 6:16-17 AMPC.

The LORD calls, “Come and see! Pay attention to what I do now!”

He has now arisen in this, to mete out His judgments on the wicked.

The great and terrible day of The LORD is not something to be mocked or taken lightly. This IS the intention of The LORD to deal with all the wicked, the PRIDEFUL of the earth who scoff at Him and His Laws.

He has a lot to say throughout the Word about the prideful, those who will not bow to Him. They will bow or be killed as this shows.

Men will even cry out for the rocks to fall on them rather than be dealt with by The LORD!

I do believe God lead me to these scriptures in Joel to sober up our perspective on where we are at, and to cry out for us to Worship and Pray for judgments are imminent on the wicked.

Even if we have longed to see these in our secret place in our hearts, we will be stunned to see the actual severity of it all.

Like Miriam and Moses who watched the sea close in on the soldiers of Egypt.

It is devastating to watch, even though they have been our enemies for all human life is valuable and precious to The LORD our Creator God.

All He has created is precious to Him. Seeing the lion death was horrible. To think they have also given these death jabs to the animals — just like us and the children. They have no love for god, only hate and arrogance.

Yuval Noah Harari is one of those spoken about in Revelation, where it says “I will make those who say they are Jews, but are NOT, {not practicing believers} to come and bow down before you and know that I have loved you.” [Revelation 3:9]

Think on that, because we are THERE.

Scwab, Bourla, Harari, etc are all an abomination to The LORD for all they have done. Only they think they will not have to answer.

They think they are ‘gods’, and like their master Lucifer, better than our God Almighty. They absolutely hate Him and us.

Jesus said, they hated Him and they will also will hate you.

Therefore also now, says The LORD, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]. Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to The LORD, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met].” Joel 2:12-13 AMPC.

It is time to turn to The LORD, for all on the earth. Judgments are here and the earth is in turmoil as He said it would be.

Time to rend our hearts, and not pretend we are okay, because we go to Church.

Jesus said, “Be gone from Me — for I never knew you,” [Matthew 7:21-23] to many in the end, because even though they did ministry and cast out demons, and healed the sick, they did not spend time in relationship with Him, and many did not even know His heart of compassion.

Religious spirits abound. He said, “Unless your righteousness is greater than that of the Pharisees, you will not enter The Kingdom of Heaven!” [Matthew 5:20].

We need to ask for the GRACE to repent. For it is a loving God who shows us our lack and sin.

Without His Grace, we are blind to our own sins. When The Glory comes, one of the first signs is that we become way more sensitive to the realization of our sin, our lack compared to His holiness.

“Who knows but what He will turn, revoke your sentence [of evil], and leave a blessing behind Him [giving you the means with which to serve Him], even a cereal or meal offering and a drink offering for The LORD, your God?” Joel 2:14 AMPC.

AMEN! God will certainly forgive those who have been blinded by pride or other wicked bindings of the enemy.

“Blow the trumpet in Zion; set apart a fast [a day of restraint and humility]; call a solemn assembly. Gather the people, sanctify the congregation; assemble the elderly people, gather the children and the nursing infants; let the bridegroom [who is legally exempt from attending] go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her closet. [None is exempt from the humiliation.]” Joel 2:1516 AMPC.

ALL are called to participate in setting themselves apart in humility to seek The LORD, to fast, pray and Worship, seeking His presence and guidance.

This should be the agenda for many now in the Church gatherings. We should be seeking His Voice, not just wanting to hear our own voices as leaders!

“Let the priests, the ministers of The LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity and spare Your people, O Lord, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the [heathen] nations should rule over them or use a byword against them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?” Joel 2:17 AMPC.

This is exactly the issue right now, heathen nations ruling over the righteous is what they want.

They really want to eliminate us period. Why indeed should they say, where is their God?

Call on the name of The LORD,ask for the former and latter day rain to fall, for God to manifest His Glory, to Judge the wickedness; to strip us of our areas of blindness, to cast down all darkness.

“Then was The LORD jealous for His land and had pity on His people. Yes, The LORD answered and said to His people, Behold, I am sending you grain and juice [of the grape] and oil, and you shall be satisfied with them; and I will no more make you a reproach among the [heathen] nations. But I will remove far off from you the northern [destroyer’s] army and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, with its front toward the eastern [Dead] Sea and with its rear toward the western [Mediterranean] Sea. And its stench shall come up [like that of a decaying mass of locusts, a symbol and forecast of the fate of the northern army in the final day of The LORD], and its foul odor shall come up, because He has done great things [The LORD will have destroyed the invaders]! [Isaiah 34:1-4, 8; Jeremiah 25:31-35; Joel 2:11.]” Joel 2:18-20 AMPC.

Hallelujah!

If we pray and fast, and do as he has said, He will do this! He has promised.

For The LORD is merciful and slow to anger, He will relent, and even our humbling ourselves is because He gives us the grace to do so, for apart from Him we can do nothing!

He is not the King of striving! He just wants our Relationship, our Fellowship with him, our Love.

So we ask for Grace, Grace, Grace to the mountains of opposition, and He comes and pours out His Holy Spirit, that we may fulfill His Word — and He comes to rescue us.

For I know my Redeemer lives, and in the end, He will make His Stand on the earth — as it says in Job!

“Come near, you nations, to hear; and hearken, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it; the world, and all things that come forth from it. For The LORD is indignant against all nations, and His wrath is against all their host. He has utterly doomed them, He has given them over to slaughter,” Isaiah 34:1-4 AMPC.

160 Nations agreed to the Covin-19 plan years ago. This is fact, not conspiracy theory.

Thus, He says in Isaiah 10:1-3,

“Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless.
What will you do in the day of punishment, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?” Isaiah 10:1-3 NKJV.

“For The LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense, for the cause of Zion,” Isaiah 34:8 AMPC. .

And below, we see in Psalm 2, an accurate description of our times….

“A noise will come even to the ends of the earth, for The LORD has a controversy and an indictment against the nations; He will enter into judgment with all mankind; as for the wicked, He will give them to the sword, says The LORD.
Thus says The LORD of hosts: Behold, evil will go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirling tempest will rise from the uttermost parts of the earth. And those slain by The LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented or gathered or buried; their [dead bodies] shall be dung upon the ground.
Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and roll in ashes, you principal ones of the flock. For the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions have fully come, and you shall fall and be dashed into pieces like a choice vessel. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal ones of the flock any means of escape,” Jeremiah 25:31-35 AMPC.

This is all for the wicked and the compromising, not for The Remnant of Believers who have put their trust in Him.

“And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who THIRSTS. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death,” Revelation 21:6-8.

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for The LORD has done great things! [Zechariah 12:8-10.]” Joel 2:21 AMPC.

“In that day will The LORD guard and defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he who is [spiritually] feeble and stumbles among them in that day [of persecution] shall become [strong and noble] like David; and the house of David [shall maintain its supremacy] like God, like the Angel of The LORD Who is before them. And it shall be in that day that I will make it My aim to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
And I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace or unmerited favor and supplication. And they shall look [earnestly] upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn,” Zechariah 12:8-10 AMPC.

Glory to God! He will bring salvation by His Grace!

“Be not afraid, you wild beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness have sprung up and are green; the tree bears its fruit, and the fig tree and the vine yield their [full] strength.
Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in The LORD, your God; for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure and in righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. And the [threshing] floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with juice [of the grape] and oil.
And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten — the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of The LORD, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I The LORD am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame,” Joel 2:22-27 AMPC.

He says it twice, emphasizing the truth of His great Mercy;“My People will never be put to shame!”

“And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit,” Joel 2:28-29 AMPC.

Afterward, after all that, He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh! All flesh means ALL flesh! He doesn’t leave anyone out in this verse. Think on that!

“And I will show signs and wonders in the heavens, and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of The LORD comes. [Isaiah 13:6, 9-11; 24:21-23; Ezekiel 32:7-10; Matthew 24:29-30; Revelation 6:12-17]” Joel 2:30-31 AMPC.

( Years ago when Mount St. Helens blew, the sky turned red over California as the volcanic ash muddied the skies, so I have always felt that is what this is about… volcanic eruptions.)

“Wail, for the day of The LORD is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty and Sufficient One [Shaddai] will it come! Behold, the day of The LORD is coming! — fierce, with wrath and raging anger — to make the land and the [whole] earth a desolation and to destroy out of it its sinners.
For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened at its rising and the moon will not shed its light. And I, The LORD, will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their guilt and iniquity; I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible and the boasting of the violent and ruthless,” Isaiah 13:6, 9-11 AMPC.

“And in that day The LORD will visit and punish the host of the high ones on high [the host of heaven in heaven, celestial beings] and the kings of the earth on the earth. And they will be gathered together as prisoners are gathered in a pit or dungeon; they will be shut up in prison, and after many days they will be visited, inspected, and punished or pardoned. Then the moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed, when [they compare their ineffectual fire to the light of] The LORD of hosts, Who will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders will show forth His glory,” Isaiah 24:21-23 AMPC.

WOW!

“And when I have extinguished you, I will cover the heavens [of Egypt] and make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you and set darkness upon your land, says The LORD God. I will also trouble and vex the hearts of many peoples when I bring your breaking and trembling and destruction and carry you captive among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.
I will make many peoples amazed and appalled at you [Egypt], and their kings shall shudder and be horribly afraid because of you when I brandish My sword before them; they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your downfall,” Ezekiel 32:7-10 AMPC.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and beat their breasts and lament in anguish, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory [in brilliancy and splendor].” Matthew 24:29-30 AMPC.

“When He [the Lamb] broke open the sixth seal, I looked, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun grew black as sackcloth of hair, [the full disc of] the moon became like blood. And the stars of the sky dropped to the earth like a fig tree shedding its unripe fruit out of season when shaken by a strong wind. And the sky rolled up like a scroll and vanished, and every mountain and island was dislodged from its place.
Then the kings of the earth and their noblemen and their magnates and their military chiefs and the wealthy and the strong and [everyone, whether] slave or free hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, and they called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on (before) us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne and from the deep-seated indignation and wrath of the Lamb.
For the great day of His wrath (vengeance, retribution, indignation) has come, and who is able to stand before it?” Revelation 6:12-17 AMPC.

The great Power of our God will be displayed as never before in these Judgments. Keep us from Your wrath to come Abba!

“And whoever shall call on the name of The LORD shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as The LORD has said, and among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom The LORD calls. [Acts 2:17-21; Romans 10:13]” Joel 2:32.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream divinely suggested] dreams. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s Kingdom]. And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor; The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious day of The LORD comes — that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day]. And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of The LORD [invoking, adoring, and worshiping The LORD — Christ] shall be saved,” Acts 2:17-21 AMPC.

“For everyone who calls upon the name of The LORD [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved,” Romans 10:13 AMPC.

We need to be sharing the gospel as we talk to people around us.

For the time keeps getting shorter. These scriptures don’t need much interpretation. They are pretty obvious.
