Is it Time to go Underground?

Is it Time to go Underground?
Is it time for The Church to go underground once again?
Looking at the state of The Churches in Britain right now, it seems to me that if we cannot meet openly, then we have to meet more discretely.
We just saw The Church in Wales shut down by police. Churches that are ‘meeting’ stay six feet apart, muzzled, no singing, no greeting, no touching, no praying aloud — not church at all!
I believe The LORD is showing me a new, Underground Church Movement — not too dissimilar from the early Roman Church, meeting in secret in the catacombs beneath Rome.
Although we can no longer meet in our Churches, nor our houses, we do still need to continue to meet and to pray together and to supply each other’s needs — spiritual and temporal.
I see folk gathering in twos threes and fours — not more — in order to pray together.
I see them gathering at the supermarket, in the park, in the shopping precincts, just walking round the neighbourhood.
I see them gathering in quiet, dark, hidden away places too. I even see them walking, not riding, to houses for meetings of four or five people.
The list and types of places to meet is endless and I’m sure The LORD will show you more!
The Church has never been completely shut down and it’s not going to happen now.
The prophecies of persecution are upon us — but Hallelujah — so are the prophecies of The Church rising again.
The Holy Spirit is not about to abandon this world, but to manifest Himself as never before. Did not Paul write to The Church in Corinth,
“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
This is how The Holy Spirit will manifest Himself again — in a demonstration of Power, Wisdom, and Strength! Glory to God!
Now is not the moment to hunker down, stay quiet, and hope it will all blow over.
Now is the time for The Church to meet however discretely, to pray together, to provide for others, and to declare our Faith to the world.
It’s time for The Church to be in among the world bringing healing and hope.
Ours is not a Gospel of doom but a glorious Gospel of Hope!
It’s a Gospel of the demonstration and manifestation of God’s Power and Love.
If the world will not let us be Church openly, then we must be The Church quietly and invisibly.
We are still The Church, the body of Christ. We must never give up meeting together but sometimes we will have to do so discretely.
Where did The Church meet?
Underground — NO!
Above (and a while ago) I asked if it’s time for The Church to go underground?
This morning, as I read the original, The LORD answered, “NO!”
I pursued this a bit further. The LORD showed me a post about Him “removing lampstands” — something I’ve posted about many times since I first heard it in 2008-9.
Agreeing with this post, I commented, “those having a form of religion, but no power!” (2 Timothy 3:5)
Now is the time for all Churches to stand, declare their Faith, and to pray for Israel and Jerusalem!
Prophets and Apostles — to lead The Church into the coming season — a mixed season of persecution and unrestrained evangelism!
The resultant coming harvest — that their lamp shines brightly, as a light on a hill, for all to see — for the demonstration of the power of God, as spoken by Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 — healing, deliverance, and prophecy!
Now is not the time for churches to go underground, but to come out, light shining, and declare the day of The LORD as per Isaiah 61:1-3,
“The Spirit of The LORD God is upon Me, because The LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings broken-hearted the poor; He has sent me to heal the, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of The LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3
” And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of [a]human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of [a]human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Chris, I feel your message is truly right on in my spirit. It is not time for the church to go underground yet. I am sure that God will turn all things around in His wisdom when we, the whole body of Christ pray together.
I requote your message.
“Now is the time for all Churches to stand, declare their Faith, and to pray for Israel and Jerusalem!
Now is not the time for churches to go underground, but to come out, light shining, and declare the day of The LORD”
We all should listen to these words of God. God will give us His victory. Hallelujah ♡
Perhaps your vision is a warning to us, in case we don’t get on our housetops shouting and becoming much more visible and powerful, very, very publicly in our society(ies). Perhaps it shows the alternative (and it seems to describe certain places in the world at this time that must become free, for God’s plans and intentions).
You go, Chris!
God is calling us to take the high ground.
