Introduction to the Life of the Biblical Prophet
These days when prophets are so prevalent in the nation we must also understand their role in our lives, church, nationally, and internationally.
Prophets communicate by God, these go through such breakings and hardness that they cannot compromise the messages they carry.
There are false prophets, whom you can see clearly over cultic churches. I am not speaking of these today.
There are others who are so very dangerous to the Church. These false prophets are not as clear, because they are very deceptive and religious.
The spirit of religion is a deadly spirit — as they claim to represent God themselves and deceive with false words, signs, and lying wonders.
There are immature prophets who prophesy in the flesh, who need more breaking of self and God is able to break them.
Then there are those who prophesy out of their own heart or soul. Both false prophets and immature prophets seek to please their flesh as they think being a prophet brings them fame, glory, and honor.
Hollywood type thinking is NOT the life of a true prophet! God is the only one who deserves all the fame, glory, and honor!
God himself calls and equips the true prophet to that office.
Then there are those who can cause extreme damage — as Balaam — who prophesied for hire.
There are those who speak in Churches, who only say ‘soft words’ and are controlled by the leader(s).
But when a true prophet comes on the scene to bring godly correction and change, when the people cannot control the prophet, these will seek to destroy the prophet’s reputation, character, nature, or even try to kill their body.
Prophets are extremely sensitive to God’s heart. These represent God’s mind and voice.
God must train these prophets to never fear man or man’s opinions. The Fear of The LORD burns within them along with Godly Wisdom.
Many may think prophets seem harsh and unforgiving. But on the contrary, to know a true prophet you learn that they are very human, yet they have a hard outer shell and they love to come aside and prefer spending time with The LORD in prayer, than to be in social gatherings.
True prophets are very human, but these become so strong outwardly in the face of man, and inwardly, they are strong concerning who they are in Christ and what God wants them to do.
However, it isn’t easy for any prophet. The cost isn’t something you would want if you could see into their lives. True prophets cannot fear or impress man.
True prophets seem hard and unmovable, because of the messages they face and carry.
In many cases, they had to learn to say NO to many things that others may have the liberty to say yes to!
Prophets don’t wake up strong, they go through pressure to tenderize them in humility and obedience, so they can be choice vessels God can use. These are deeply rooted, planted by The River of God.
When prophets stand against sin in the Church, or with kings and nations, these may look proud, but it isn’t pride or arrogance that you see; it is actually a high level of confidence and assurance in whom they serve and speak for.
Prophets cannot be moved by man’s opinion or persecution — even if they stand alone. They have God and all of heaven’s resources backing them up, even if they are put into prison for their message.
In this small article, my objective in teaching is not an exhaustive manual on prophets. I am only acknowledging that true prophets are on the scene.
God has raised them up for such a time as this and it is important that you thank God for them.
If you know, meet, or hear of a prophet pray for them and bless them for they stand in the gap for you, your Church, nation, and the nations of the world.
More to come beloved…….
“Surely The LORD GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets,” Amos 3:7 KJV.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,” Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV.
“But he that prophesies speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort,” 1 Corinthians 14:3 KJV.
“And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I The LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream,” Numbers 12:6 KJV.
“Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core,” Jude 1:11 KJV.

Thank you very much. And my flesh has been fighting fasting but I know I need to. Blessings
Simple question: Is it possible for even true prophets to sometimes move in the flesh & not be aware of it?
Of course we are human and make mistakes but we endure so many decades of isolation with the Lord and a deep breaking down and dying to self process that the differentiation becomes quite obvious. We don’t live a ‘normal’ reality and do not enjoy the same level of free will that other Christians have enjoyed. We have heavy restrictions placed on us from the time that we are small children and so this set apart life serves the moulding process which is far greater than many of the Lord’s other servants endure before putting hand to plough. I hope this helps.
Pray and or meditate, spend time alone in nature, which is really also spending time with God. Or find what suits you best, to spend time alone with the God, and God will ‘download’ new strategy’s and direction into you. God takes what’s in our heart, better than we can express in words, and provide’s the way, via the Holy Spirit like you say indeed.
Fasting is real good as well, from sunrise to sundown, when fasting, the body is ‘light’ and therefore spiritually more sensitive and open to receive signals and receive guidance from the Holy Spirit.
God speaks to us through feelings/ intuition, follow what feels good, which is the direction God is pointing you in. If you have a feeling of not understanding something, that is when God wants you to pause, and investigate that further first so God can show you what it means. Hi sis, please pray for me. i was prophesied over and told i was one. I ran from it for years. I wish I had a mentor or just someone to guide me. i know the holyspirit is the ultimate teacher but i still feel guidance from another is needed. Thanks for post.
Here’s an example, before i posted a picture and a scripture on a site, i consulted with the God first which picture and scripture to post, which felt best or meaningful, even though i didn’t fully understand at that moment, it felt right. Few months later while fasting, i was following my intuition and the guidance of the Holy spirit and walking in nature, after when arriving back home i felt really good and energetic, it was only then when i realised the Holy Spirit guided me to a place which looked exactly like the picture i had posted, and was also relevant to it’s meaning and the scripture.
Know that God is not bound by time like we are, and can see the whole picture, if something feels real good one moment, that’s God pointing to it, it can become important at a later time, even years after. If we want something righteous, then God can go ahead of us, and prepare the way and lead us there. 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Proverbs 4:23 – – Do not let negative beings(demons) project negative thoughts onto you, to try and make you perceive them as your own, to try darken your heart/ empower darkness. Fight with faith, stay in the light, guard your heart and keep it pure, righteous and connected to God, ten commandments are good! Live in truth, live in light, and multiply light. Walk straight, shoulders and head held high, like this when someone who sloths, and tries to project negativity onto you, you will be shielded. Armor of God, Ephesians 6, 1 Corinthians 9:27 (comment too long, see next comment continueing…)
God is everywhere, always, in nature, all around us, in very small details, which many people never notice…
Look into cleansing your body from chemicals as best as possible, decalcifying the pineal gland (avoid fluoride, aluminium), and electronic magnetic frequency (emf) pollution, which clouds the brain and makes it more difficult to hear God’s voice via intuition. (smartphone’s and wifi’s, plasma screens, savings light bulbs and smart meters, all these emit high emf, unplug/ switch off as much as possible, especially at night when sleeping, since these interfere with your dreams and can give nightmare’s)
Careful which water you use, check if your tap water contains chemicals, flouride or other chemicals. Living natural spring water is much better than chemically treated. Use natural water as much as possible, drinking, cooking, washing dishes, washing clothes, showering, or put filters on taps if tap water contains too much chemicals.
Turn off fake news as much as possible, for most of it is lies, not of God.

Reflect and look back on your life, look at old pictures, but with spiritual eyes, if you say you are a Prophet of God, then God has probably already woven in signs and events into your life’s path. If you find them you will better understand how God speaks and moves in your life. Sometimes the truth is right in front of you, waiting to be discovered…
Life’s purposes, or your destiny, can span generations…
20 Because you have so little faith, He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”… Matthew 17:20
Your parents life’s purpose, destiny, or spiritual life’s work in God might be in line with yours. For you to continue, moving the mountain…
Satan knows this, and this is why he tries to confuse people and make them lose their way, to try and avoid people fulfulling their life’s destiny and full potential.
Good luck, God bless!
