In the Midst of it all…
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you” Isaiah 43:2.
There are many who have and are experiencing some very difficult and trying times. There is so much that is going on in your life that you can’t tell up from down. There are fiery trials that surround you all around and it seems that there is no solution or no way out. It seems that there is no answer. It seems to you that life is so unfair.
But God says: In the midst of it all, I am there! Even when you are thrown all the way in the fire, I am there. Just like I was with the three Hebrew boys, when they were thrown all the way in the fire, I was right in the midst of them.
God is saying to you:
“Some of you get so troubled and in despair because you are all the way in the fire.
Just because you are in the fire does not mean I am not there. It does not mean that I cannot deliver you! Am I not God? Do you not know that I am the great I AM?
What I really want is your devoted love and life commitment. What I really want is for those who need to repent to come and submit to me. Life without me is pointless and fruitless and empty!
When the trials come and I am not in your life, the trials will come and they will overtake you. But when I am there, I will give you peace right in the midst of the storm. Though the wind and waves come all around you, you will not be worried or harmed, because I am there on the boat with you.
Haven’t you given everything and everybody else a chance? Why not give me a chance?
It’s time out for just seeking me for your basic needs so you can just get by for a little while. Don’t you see that I take care of the sparrow and provide food for them? So how much more will I give or do for you if you seek my face and not my hand?
Sometimes I send the fire to cause you to turn to me. Sometimes I use the storms, the struggles, the disappointments, so you can call on me. No matter what you have done, I still love you!
You can come to me just as you are, because I love you and nobody can change that! Will you love me back?
Come to me, though the fires are hot, though the storms are raging, though winds are blowing I am there! If you allow me to be Lord of your life, I will be with you in the midst of it all.”
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” Jeremiah 33:3.
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you” Isaiah-26:3.
God lead me to re-post this for some who are feeling the heat of the trials in their life.
