In Regard To Being Sent
As I was working today I thought of the fact that the LORD provided my job as a result of prayer.
To me this means that if God provided your job as the result of seeking and trusting Him for this provision, then it is not only an answer to prayer.
The truth about this provision is that you were SENT there.
The Prophet Elijah was SENT to a place where the ravens were commanded to drop meat to Elijah; then he was SENT to the Zarafath, where the LORD provided through the widow woman.
As the result of where Elijah was SENT by the LORD, when she gave him a small cake of bread, he prophesied that the oil would not run out, nor would the flour run out.
That was the witness of power of God in the life of Elijah. The widow woman received the prophet’s reward when she followed through by giving the bread to him.
The prophet’s reward was the miraculous provision that she could not have produced herself.
“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry”.
“The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.”
When a righteous man is hired by an employer, and receives him or her into their business as an employee, the righteous worker will ensure that the employer made the right decision to hire that person.
The employee will make right decisions that will show productive influence on the bottom line, in other words, make money for the company.
That business is receiving what I call “the righteous man’s reward.” The employee will put forth a conscious effort to be productive because it is the right thing it do.
It will be his witness as a righteous man. He will grow with the company because his work ethic is not only pleasing to his employer, but to the LORD as well because the LORD takes great delight in the prosperity of His servant.
In all that we do, we do it heartily as unto the LORD and not just unto men, (Colossians 3:23).
