In a Desert Place?
The LORD showed me today that many are in a Desert Place because of their thoughts.
Negative thoughts like rejection, heartache, fear, doubt and self loathing.
And I see the Child of God in this desert. And I see these dark thoughts swirling around them.
They look like swirls of black smoke like tentacles circling all around them. These thoughts were sent by the enemy.
They don’t belong to you! And I see Jesus come and hand them a box. He wants you to envision this container.
Now put those thoughts in that box and close the lid for good. Jesus is taking this box from you.
It is a box of forgetfulness. He took all that darkness, and fear and shame on Himself at the Cross. It isn’t yours any more.
And I see Jesus walking with you through this desert. Everywhere His Foot steps, the desert starts blooming and becomes green and full of beautiful flowers and plants and streams of Living Water flow.
The Light from His Face blazes forth like the sun, destroying the demonic clouds that looked so threatening.
The desert has become a beautiful place, flowing with LIFE. He says, “Never look back, Little One. I have got you.”
“Beloved. The enemy has been working overtime on My People.
But hear My Voice, Beloved. I AM saying to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, do not fear; your God has come, I come with vengeance upon your enemies; with Divine Retribution I have come to save you.’
Take your dark thoughts captive and put them in the box of forgetfulness.
All of your sins are forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved. I call you My Beautiful One dressed in your Garments of Salvation and your Robe of Righteousness.
As far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your transgressions from you.
They are no more, Dear One. All the dark tentacles of the evil one flee in the Brilliance of My Face. I will strengthen your heart.
I AM bringing you out of this wilderness, leaning upon your Beloved. The Desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom.
Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I AM doing a NEW THING.
Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?
I will even make a Way in the wilderness and Rivers in the desert.
Cast down every argument and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of your God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Let us move forward, Beloved, into the good things I have planned for you. My Loving Devotion to you shall never cease.
Take refuge in the Shadow of My Wings and keep your gaze upon Me.
You are the called and the chosen and the faithful. No longer drink from the river of death, but drink from My River of Life!
This Living Water from the Throne of Grace will refresh you and sustain you and clear your mind.
Feast on the abundance of My House, and drink from My River of Delights. For I AM your Deliverer. I AM the Fountain of Life from whom all blessings flow. In My Light you shall see Light.
You are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His Marvelous Light!
This is a New Day for you. The burning sand will become a Pool, the thirsty ground Bubbling Springs! Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says The LORD of Hosts.
“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:11-12
“Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself.” Hebrews 9:26
“Surely for my own welfare I had such great anguish; but Your love has delivered me from the pit of oblivion, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.” Isaiah 38:17
“I, yes I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 43:25
“He will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast out all our sins into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:19
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
“How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings! They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.” Psalm 36:7-9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
The Joy of the Redeemed
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of The LORD, the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those The LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Isaiah 35:1-10.
