I’ll Take My LORD Wherever I Go
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
I’ll Take My LORD Wherever I Go
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go
Where the ocean meets the sand
Wherever I walk
Whatever bridge I cross
My footprints will follow His
Along side the crashing surf
He’s my pocket of sunshine
That shines brightly inside me
He is more opulent than the luster of a pearl
And brighter than the light of a lighthouse
And anywhere I go-up or down or all around
I’ll shine His Light for all to see
For that is His Will for me
I’ll take my LORD, oh yes I’ll take my LORD
He stands by me no matter what
And delivers me out of it all
My hopes are in Him
My hopes are high in Him
Whenever I call, He is already there
Ohhhh He is The Way!
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go
Whether it rains or shines
Through joyous times
Through difficult trials
My footprints will follow His
Whatever my circumstances may be
I’ll find peace through His Strength
Walking above the turbulence
Keeping my eyes on Him
Not one drop of water will touch me
The wind will rage all around
Not one hair on my head shall stir
I’ll walk confidently knowing The LORD of Peace dwells in me
I’ll take my LORD, oh yes I’ll take my LORD
He stands by me no matter what
And delivers me out of it all
My hopes are in Him
My hopes are high in Him
Whenever I call, He is already there
Ohhhh, He is The Way!
I delight to do Thy Will, O my God
Thy Law is within my heart
I’ll shine the light You have given me
I’ll salt the path with Your Truth
I do not hide Your Righteousness in my heart
I speak of Your Faithfulness and Your Saving Help
Because You are The Way!
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go
Where the ocean meets the sand
Wherever I walk
Whatever bridge I cross
My footprints will follow His
Along side the crashing surf
He’s my pocket of sunshine
That shines brightly in me
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go!
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go!
Oh yes, you better believe it
I’ll take my LORD wherever I go…

Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Dear Gabrielle Fuehrer, I dearly love your beautiful poetry to the Lord Jesus. Today I was so blessed more than I can say. Carol Morrow
