Finality & Judgment
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.
This morning in prayer, I heard the LORD speak the number 9 for finality and judgment for some!
God is extending His Hands of love and roses to many in this season!
Sometimes it may seem as though the wicked are getting away with their evil and their wicked ways, but God is only allowing them to get away, because He is allowing them space to repent and to do a U-Turn.
But instead, they take it as a license to sin and to continue to buffet you, fighting against you. But I hear God saying this morning: “No worries!”
Habakkuk the Prophet had become distressed and he had went to the LORD concerning the injustice and all the violence he had seen.
It seemed like nothing was being done to correct them, but the LORD spoke and said,
“Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming.
It aches for the coming — it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time,” Habakkuk 2:2-3 MSG.
The LORD let Habakkuk know,
“Note well: Money deceives. The arrogant rich don’t last. They are more hungry for wealth than the grave is for cadavers. Like death, they always want more, but the ‘more’ they get is dead bodies. They are cemeteries filled with dead nations, graveyards filled with corpses. Don’t give people like this a second thought. Soon the whole world will be taunting them: “‘Who do they think they are — getting rich by stealing and extortion? How long do you think you can get away with this?’ Indeed, how long before your victims wake up, stand up and make you the victim? You’ve plundered nation after nation. Now you’ll get a taste of your own medicine,” Habakkuk 2:5-8 MSG.
People reaping time is coming and the hand of god is about to plunder your enemies and you will be left to take the spoils saith the LORD!
Idolatry of God’s People
Moses loved the people so much that he would constantly intervene whenever God would think of bringing His great wrath upon them!
I don’t know if this came from him being separated from his tribe as an infant, but even when he saw the Egyptians rising up against his brother he rose up and smote the Egyptian and killed him.
The LORD said to me that many times, old hurts and wounds that we have not been completely delivered from, can come back to destroy our destiny if we are not watchful and prayerful in Him!
God told Moses,
“Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them,” Numbers 20:8-12 KJV.
Moses, like some of us, loved the people so much that they have become a god to us: instead of an assignment!
Moses’ love for the people ended up being a vexation to his soul, and as result, he lashed out at them in a time he should have obeyed God!
People, sometimes we are better off allowing God to deal with the hearts of the people, than continuously intervening for them!
Not only did God deal with those who were causing all the commotion and chaos in the camp, but Moses himself ended up missing the promise land as a result!
The love you have for the people can end up killing you if you don’t give them back to God. Remember, they are not your people, and you are only the leader!
