Ichabod Writing Is Upon the Door
How can you build God’s House, when your own house has (is) fallen down?
Eli was called to be a Jewish priest called to serve God in the temple! But, he failed to carry out his priestly duties in the temple when it came to his sons!
He knew they where doing things in the temple (having sex with the women and misused the meat from the sacrifice) because the people told him about their poor behavior!
Eli rebuked them but he refused to put a stop to their behavior which angered God!
God had warned him several times of this: even sending the Prophet Samuel but he still did nothing.
I believe that God is calling His People into a higher standard of living in this season but like Eli many have failed the task causing God to bring about the wrath of God upon the priesthood!
As a result, much tragedy came upon the house of Eli! Hophni and Phinehas died in battle with the Philistines who captured the Ark of the Covenant (loosing something of importance and a symbol that God was with them) and took it away from Israel.
Eli I am sure, knew that he was in much trouble after hearing this bad news and was in much distress; however, you would think he should have been expecting it seeing that God had already sent him warnings!) Upon hearing this terrible news, Eli fell backward off his chair and broke his neck and died. Phinehas’s pregnant wife went into labor and bore a son, (1 Samuel 4:21–22).
The LORD is speaking in this season and many that have been called into the priestly office of the priest will see their heads amputated just as Eli did if they continue to sin and neglect their priestly duties in the house!
I believe that Eli was in complete denial it seems as though he had been in this office so long he never thought God would actually have allowed him to be destroyed by the enemy!
I believe him falling back breaking his neck was very symbolic! And, it demonstrated the fall of the head of leadership!
Eli seemed disappointed and in total shock causing him to fall back and to break his neck but he never once saw how God must have felt knowing he had lost the ark of the covenant in his heart way before the physical ark had been stolen!
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, (2 Timothy 3:5-7).
Eli’s pregnant daughter-in-law, Phinehas’s wife, went into labor; she died during delivery, but not before she named her son Ichabod, saying, ‘The Glory has departed from Israel’.
Thus, Eli’s grandson, born on a day of death and defeat, was given a name meaning “No Glory.” Eli had been a priest in Israel and a judge for forty years.
The LORD is speaking loudly in this hour and I believe that He is saying that many shall give birth, but it want be what they have expected!
Just as Eli’s daughter-in-law did! God had warned Eli’s house and said, “I promised that your branch of the tribe of Levi would always be my priests. But I will honor those who honor me, and I will despise those who think lightly of Me.
The time is coming when I will put an end to your family, so it will (no longer) serve as my priests. All the members of your family will die before their time. None will reach old age,” (1 Samuel 2:30-31).
Help us Holy Ghost! People, God wants to bring back the fear, the glory and the honor that the Church has lost in this season!
Get out of the way God wants His Glory back in the house!

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
