I Will NEVER Leave You!
“For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you,” Hebrews 13:5b.
Just recently the Spirit of God so strongly impressed these words from His Word into my Spirit, “I will never leave you.” How timely, how fitting, how much needed is a word from the Spirit of the Lord right when we need it. At all times and in all seasons there is nothing more encouraging to you and I than to be reminded by the Lord that His abiding presence remains with us. We know this truth from the Word of God but such blessing comes when the Holy Spirit reminds us of this glorious truth.
Some of you reading this right now need God’s reminder and assurance of His presence in your lives. The road has been long and difficult. I sense some of you are going through very fiery trials within the home and with family. It could be your spouse or concerning your children. I believe and sense in this very hour the Lord wants to remind you that He is with you in the midst of your pain. The Lord has not forgotten you but is reassuring you in this time and season that He is with you.
Some of you right now are facing great difficulties in the work and ministry God has called you to. It could be severe opposition or even betrayal on the part of those who were close to you. The Lord is reminding you in this season of His great promise to be with you through it all. Stay faithful at your post unless the Spirit of God directly and clearly speaks another direction for you to take. The current problems you are facing do not feel good but are working in you something far greater than meets the eye. In order to be a reflection of Jesus Christ in our lives and ministries we must go through some suffering but the end result is greater GLORY!
My beloved brothers and sisters one of the last things Jesus promised before He ascended to the right hand of the Father is that He would be with us ALWAYS! Even to the end of the age. Even when the trials come. Even when we are misunderstood, underappreciated, worn out and weary. He is WITH us!
Remember these words from the LORD to YOU: “I will NEVER leave you.”
