God showed me that the (earthly) shepherd covering is symbolically like the bezel of a watch! It is there to protect the sheep, which are the face of the watch, in order to shield it from wear and tear (sin) of the enemy!

Especially during spiritual warfare however, many shepherds (bezels) are not protecting the sheep. They are like many watches which have decorative bezels (wicked shepherds) and their purpose is fake, glamorous and they are only suited to impress others in the pulpits and congregations of the people!

God said they are not there to feed, support or to provide knowledge and wisdom (Word of God) for His people to grow or to be all they can be, in Christ! These wicked shepherds glory in the fact that they are there to deceive, manipulate and to allow the wolves to come in as they place veils (face) upon the faces of God’s people, keeping them in darkness! God said “My people perish for a lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

“Just as the Prophet Hananiah broke the yoke off the neck of the Prophet Jeremiah: so have many of these false prophets done to My prophets,” saith The Lord! Many of them are so full of themselves (decorative bezels) that they love to show off before a crowd of people in order to impress others; as the Prophet Hananiah had done before the people of God by promising the people peace, when God had not spoken this to His people!

Many folk are simply great orators and speak well. They love to show off before a crowd of people and they are not concerned about the people they are covering, but rather in the glamour and fame of being in the pulpit!

But I hear God saying that just as He sent the Word of The Lord to His Prophet Jeremiah, so is god sending His Word today, saying He will break the yoke off those false prophets who promise His people a covering but have no intention of fulfilling their promises!

God is saying that when false prophets continue to lie, to manipulate, to deceive and to make His people trust in a lie, He will put yokes of iron upon them and will wipe them from off of the face of the earth! (Jeremiah 28: 10-17). The bezel (shepherds) are there to protect and to serve the flock; to make sure that the face (the sheep) are protected from the forces of the enemy and not for the shepherds to serve themselves!

God said, “I will give you (earthly) shepherds who will feed you and will watch over My flocks and when the shepherds cannot watch after you, I (Christ) will cover you!”

God said, “I will cover you as the chief shepherd!”

God is saying that He will feed His own flocks and cover them and bring them from this far land (wicked shepherds) where these wicked shepherds have placed them and who have been broken, scattered! “I will gather, place My sheep under (Holy) shepherds who will feed My flock in a new land continually,” saith The Lord (Ezekiel 34:13-16)!
