I heard The LORD say, “I have wanted to open doors for you but you’ve been impatient and tried to open them yourselves.

I have tried to surprise you with gifts but impatience has gone out an bought substitutes that do not satisfy for yourselves.

Many are like the woman who has everything but yet has nothing, because she couldn’t wait for the best thing which is a gift from her lover’s heart.

I wanted to see your face when you unwrapped the thing I would have given.

I wanted to see your excitement at the door I opened, but you charged out ahead and settled for what only you could do for yourself.

Could you not wait?

Could you not see that what I give and what I open is from My Heart?

Could you not see that it would be the best and the most beautiful?

Did you not know that what I give is the best thing for you?

I long to be your source of surprise, only you must wait, yes I say wait upon Me with an expectant heart…. ”
