“I Want to Be Like Jesus!”
So you say… “I want to be like Jesus!”
Well take a quick tour through the Scriptures and find out what Jesus was like.
How did Jesus live, and where did he go, and to whom did he talk? What was in His Heart?
When you do, you will find Jesus walking the dusty roads of Galilee, and in and out of boats on The Sea of Galilee, in Synagogues where the religious sinners hang out, and in the homes of the vilest of the vile.
You will see him crying over the sinners, warning them of the day to come. Jesus was seen talking to the worst.
To the place Jesus was called the friend of sinners.
Jesus was seen teaching, and preaching, and healing the sick.
Everywhere he went, the sick were healed and many believed. Jesus was like a light shining in a dark place of sin.
The miracles He worked were to point men to believe He was who He said He was… The Son of God. The One called Emmanuel, being interpreted: God with us.
Yes, Jesus was truly walking the road that also led up the Calvary Hill, where Jesus willingly laid down His life upon that cruel cross and He gave His life for those sinners.
Look — and see Him hanging on His Cross…… for you!
Jesus The LORD. Savior of sinners.
This has been just a beginning of what you will have to do and be to be like Jesus.
Scripture:
“Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; and being made perfect, He became the author of eternal Salvation unto all them that obey Him,” Hebrews 5:7-9
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:11-14

Matt 26:39
And he went a little beyond them and fell on his face and prayed saying My Father if it is possibly let this cup pass from me
Yet not as I will but you will.
Most people think Jesus willing laid down his life for them. Simply not true. He was only concerned about doing the Fathers will over his own as we should be. Gee how is it possible for Jesus to have a will opposite of the one true God. Because he was a man in dwelt by God just like us. What a concept and thank God for it. I did not write the above scripture a man wrote it moved by Gods spirit.
