“Someone may fear that we are magnifying private religion out of all proportion, that the “us” of the New Testament is being displaced by a selfish “I.” Has it ever occurred to you that one hundred pianos all tuned to the same fork are automatically tuned to each other? They are of one accord by being tuned, not to each other, but to another standard to which each one must individually bow. So one hundred worshippers met together, each one looking away to Christ, are in heart nearer to each other than they could possibly be were they to become “unity” conscious and turn their eyes away from God to strive for closer fellowship. Social religion is perfected when private religion is purified. The body becomes stronger as its members become healthier. The whole Church of God gains when the members that compose it begin to seek a better and a higher life.” [1]

My child, the unity I prayed for as recorded in John 17 can only be accomplished as each member of My Body comes into personal unity with Me. This is the pure unity that I prayed for. All other unity will be tainted by the compromise and wisdom of men. It may bring a certain comradeship but it cannot take the Church to the place of unity IN ME that I desire.

The example of the 100 tuned pianos demonstrates how this unity is to be achieved. I call My people as individuals to come and know Me personally. All are afforded the privilege to enter into an intimate relationship with Me. As our intimacy deepens, the tuning process progresses. The more time spent with Me in the secret place of intimate communion, the more in-tune you become. Then when My people congregate together, the harmony of their souls already tuned to My Heart will explode with My presence, power, and with signs, wonders and healings that far surpass those in the Book of Acts.

You are My instruments upon which I play to release the sounds of Heaven in the earth. These sounds also release Light and Power so the more you are in-tune with Me the more power I can release through your vessel — your instrument.

The harmony of souls that are knitted to Me is the unity I prayed for which I am still waiting to be accomplished in this generation. I desire hearts that beat in unison with My Heart. I desire a people of passion who cry, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.”

This unity of spirit, soul, and body cannot be achieved by any other means. As each member of My Body comes into harmony with Me, they in turn are in harmony with one another. It is not by the might of human ideals, or human power, but it is accomplished by My Spirit to bring glory to the Father. I AM the only Way or Doorway to enter into this unity.

Come closer. Stay longer in the secret place. Let me fill you with grace and blessings as I tune your hearts to the beat of My Heart. Shalom.
