I Must fulfill My Destiny!
As I was telling the Lord many years ago how my singing was not up to par the Lord said to me “Don’t you ever put the gift that I died to place in you down again!” He said that it hurt His heart. He said that He paid a great price to place that gift and talent in us and he did not want us thinking like that. Then He gave a song to me….
Thank you, thank you Lord… For the song in my heart
Thank you, thank you Lord… For the gift you impart…
There is so many ways you have shown me… You Love me, you love me
There’s so many things you have given to me to show me you care..
So I give you all the praise in my heart, in my heart
I give you all my love, with the gift you impart…
Thank you, I thank you … I thank you Lord…
After that day I thought of my gifting differently and I treasured what God had placed in me and I grew in what he had placed in me. We need to see what God has given to each one of us and then use all of it to the potential that God has planned before the foundation of the world! Ask God what it is that He wants you to do today with what you have in you!!
Stop measuring ourselves among ourselves and focus on our gifts and our purpose. I promise you will grow a lot faster than if you would sit back and compare yourself with others!! You have greatness in you! You have at least one gift and one talent and if you use that to it’s potential. You will be all that God has called you to be and you will here Him say. Well done thou Good and faithful Servant!
Treasure your gift! It is not only God’s gift to you ,but your gift to the world!! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you! That kind of leaves us with no excuse and anything else is false humility and fear…
The Lord is asking today “Why not you?” Rise up in the gifts and talents that I have given you and take the land that is given to you for the Kingdom of God!!
Mat 25:14-29 NKJV “For [the kingdom of heaven is] like a man traveling to a far country, [who] called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 “Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. “And likewise he who [had received] two gained two more also.
18 “But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. 19 “After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’
21 “His lord said to him, ‘Well [done], good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 22 “He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’
23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well [done], good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ 29 “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
25 ‘And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, [there] you have [what is] yours.’ 26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
27 ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28 ‘Therefore take the talent from him, and give [it] to him who has ten talents. 29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”
2 Corinthians 10:12 “For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”
1 Corinthians 12:15 “If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?”
