I AM the Resurrection and the Life!
There is a story in the bible of the time when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was dead for four days, he was in the grave (cave) with a stone blocking the entrance, he was bound with grave clothes and he reeked with the smell of death. Jesus asked those with Him to remove the stone. After they removed the stone, Jesus called out in a loud voice “Lazarus come forth“. Lazarus came out bound hand and foot and with his face also wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to the people “Loose him, and let him go.”
Every one of us has had a Lazarus experience which may not necessarily have been to the point of physical death, but we have been released from impossible situations that have had us bound. There are some things in our lives that need to die before they could be resurrected. You may be facing situations that appear to be dead in your life. In the natural they may seem impossible to change. Jesus is the resurrection and the life and nothing is impossible with Him.
The Lord says,
“Do not fear the evil report. Do not fear the situation that appears to be impossible. I am resurrecting those things that are dead and stagnant in your life. I will free you from the assignments of the evil one, and I will release those of you who are in bondage and captivity. Those of you who are spiritually bound and in shackles, will be loosed and you will come into the fullness of My calling. I am cutting away the restraints that have kept you enslaved, and bringing you into a life of freedom.
I am raising those of you who are spiritually dead back to life. When all hope seems to be lost, as you stand your ground through difficult times, you will come back stronger. As your grave clothes are removed and everything that is comatose is awakened. As the face cloth is removed you will once again be able to see the radiance of My glory. I will remove the spirit of infirmity and the assignment of death off your life. I will bring those who have been in misalignment back into alignment with My will. As many of you have come face to face with the enemy, it has made you stronger and many people will be inspired by your testimony.”
Then the Lord showed me another group of people who were unaware that the stone has been rolled away. He is calling you to come out.
“Come forth! The stone has been removed and I am calling you out. It is time to be loosed from your death sentence and enter in to the Covenant promises that I have for you. I will send along friends who will help to loose you from your grave clothes. I will bring restoration and direction back into your life. The stench of death will no longer be upon you, but a life giving aroma will arise from you that will be evident to many.
The glory of My resurrection will be undeniable upon your life. And when you are converted, go and strengthen your sisters and brothers. I will use you to release others who are in the same bondage as you have been delivered from. You will bring healing to those who are sick. Those who are also trapped and imprisoned will be free once again to rejoice . As you come out and allow Me to work in your life, you will begin to walk in a freedom and fulfill all that I have placed in your heart to do,”
says the Lord.
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”” John 11:25.
“Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” John 11:40.
“Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”” John 11:43-44.
