“I AM He!”
On the night of January 12, 2024, I saw that I was walking in a very dark place.
It was so dark, that I could see nothing; but I had a flashlight in my hand so that I could see my next steps. That was the only Light.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
In the early morning hours of January 13, 2024, I was impressed with the following Word:
“For I AM He,” says The LORD, “Who formed you in your mother’s womb; and I AM He Who created all things.
And I AM He Who walks the earth to rule and reign among men. And I AM the One,” says your King, “Who Is the Great I AM!
So watch Me move. This is the time We have waited for. For every knee shall bow and see that The LORD your God has moved His Mighty Hand. He brings justice to the earth when there is no other who can.
Although the darkness has become great, I AM He Who overcomes the darkness. I AM He Who overcomes!
So hold My Hand and come with Me, and you shall see that I AM He!” says your King.
A short time later: “Only watch and see — that I AM He!”
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of The LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but The LORD will arise over you, and His Glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1-2
We are in a time of great darkness, a time foretold by the prophets of old, and while we may not be able to see the steps to take far ahead, as we seek Him, He shines His Light for each step, keeps us close, and covers us.
I believe when The Light breaks forth, it will be a Great Light!
He is always Faithful! Hallelujah!
For a couple days, I have been waking up with the song, Sufficient for Today.
I like this version by Maverick City. (I wake with a song almost every morning. Sometimes it is the same song over a period of days or weeks, and sometimes it is a new song. This is a new song to me.)
Declare : “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.” Psalm 112:4 NKJV
We are upright by Your Blood, Jesus!
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5 ESV
May His Light shine on your path as you walk through this dark time!

The first time I read this word from Marietta, it reminded me that I’d had a song in my head all day. The song is a well known radio song from the last 15 years or so and sung by someone widely believed to be into evil spirituality, although the song is positive on the surface. I felt God was mocking Team Evil, pointing out how far they have fallen – behind the scenes – since the song was released. I love how God uses contemporary culture to speak to us!!
God is saying, I believe, the following:
Your path looks scary but it is secure.
Maybe therefore, viewed from heaven, it isn’t scary at all. Just a thought. Of course, if it was written in 2020 you may already be in a place feeling safe: a huge family gathering.
Sorry this particular comment was meant as a reply to Sheila!
I had a dream of being in my car on a very narrow path when suddenly the lights went out. I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face, but I couldn’t stop the car. I was scared and shaking. Then suddenly a light shone down from heaven and I was still on the winding path, but then the light from heaven went out and again it was black dark and my car was still going. Then, once again, a light shone down from heaven and I was still on the narrow path. The next thing I knew I was at, what appeared to be, a huge family gathering and I woke up. I felt the Lord was showing me He would bring me to my destiny or His destination for me, or not only me, but all of us, even though there will be some dark times we will go through. Thank you, Marietta for this word. I had this dream in 2020 and needed to be reminded of it. Praise Jesus!
This may become my morning song. The anointing of God so powerfully present – can get lost in His Presence.

I needed this! Thank YOU JESUS!!!
