Humility is Key!
The Lord is speaking to the hearts of his people to NEVER forget where he has brought us from! For, many times God exalts us and the enemy uses another human vessel (other gods/ denomination/ traditions/ religion/husbands and wives, children, etc..) to deceive us in forgetting who graced us to be, to have, and to do ALL that we have done in this life!
But, when you know from whence you have come, how hard it was to overcome somethings, and how much it took for you to get where you are now, you won’t be so easily swayed by the things of this world! But, you will continue to seek the face of God no matter what it takes to do it!
And, when we failed to be in His presence for a simple second, we should all the more be compelled to cry out and yearn the more of him! Because, nothing in this world can fill our empty souls like being in his presence! For, in his presence is full of Glory!
Come on now, for such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it. Where can I go from His Spirit? Or where can I flee from His presence? If I ascend to heaven, He is there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, He is there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth NOT from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well, (Psalms 139:6-14).
How dare you to look back and turn your hearts away from the one who brought you out of sin into His marvelous light?
God had Jeremiah to take a girdle and to place it in a rock to demonstrate how he would mar the pride of Jerusalem and Judah for ALL there wickedness and the sins they had committed from being hardheaded and rebellious! For, they refused to listen to God’s word and neglected to keep his covenant and begin walking in there own ways; instead! They had taken it upon themselves to walk in the imagination of there own evil heart! They went whoring after other gods to serve them and failed to give God the glory for ALL he had done for them provoking God to anger and wrath!
The Lord wanted Jeremiah to demonstrate prophetically that the same way the girdle was marred so had Jerusalem and Judah become marred in his sight and had become good for nothing like the girdle! When, we become full of ourselves God is saying he NO LONGER has any use for us! And, as a result of our hard heartedness he can no longer stomach us!
He wanted Jerusalem and Judah to observe this act because they where like the girdle hid in the rock! For many times we think God is revealing things in our hearts to show us what someone else is doing, but it is us that God is speaking too! But, (see – evaluate) we transfer it on to others; instead of asking God is it me! Just ask David who felt the prophet was rebuking someone else’s sin and it was him who slept with another man’s wife! A man after God’s on heart!
God is trying to turn our hearts and minds inside out to demonstrate we have left God’s glory and we have become dull in the spirit! The glory of God has left many churches, and individuals and God is saying, Ichabod!!
It is time to seek the Lord and humble ourselves; for without God we can do nothing! Hear ye, and give ear; be NOT proud: for the Lord hath spoken. Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
But if ye will NOT hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is carried away captive. Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory, (Jeremiah 13:15-18).

Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her into prophetic ministry, she has been on this journey, called to intercede and to pray on behalf of others in the ministry as God speaks to her, instructing, directing and dropping a prophetic word for her, to give to others. To prepare her for her prophetic call, God promised He would bringing her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did! |
