Humility in Elevation
People never know what someone has suffered or what price they have paid for the favor that is produced in their life by God.
Nobody would ever know that some have lost everything.
Some have been persecuted sometimes to the point of giving up.
Some have been rejected by family friends and the church some have experience so much trouble heartache and tears.
It’s amazing how people are not in your struggles, but will love you in your time of breakthrough. When you have paid a price, and know that you have don’t let people make you feel bad, because God is moving for you.
You’re not boasting in yourself when you testify as to how you were. Nothing but God, has favored your life. You are showing forth the praises of the goodness of God.
Jealous people will begin to attack the moment God brings increase. Leeches will attach the minute God opens the doors. You will be accused of being prideful, the minute God enlarges your territory.
It’s sad that we cannot celebrate each other, but will attempt to sabotage another person, because of what God is doing for them.
People tend to forget that it’s not how long you been saved, but God favors whom He wants. Plus, your motives, your spirit, your attitude, plays an important part in promotion and elevation.
Those whom God is elevating, be extra careful that you discern the people who connect at your season of elevation; that you remain humble in the season of promotion, and that you always remember it’s for God’s glory.
Remember God will not share His Glory with anyone. Never, Never, Never, let the applause of the people make you forget that it was God who brought you through. It was God who opened the door. It was God who favored you!
No matter how God uses us; no matter what He does; in our lives, He gets the credit for it all.
Remember, nobody would even know your name, if God didn’t let it be known.
NOTE: Don’t lose your humility in your elevation!
Leaders, Priorities and Busyness
I am going to address this because I’m seeing to many in ministry, whining or complaining, that people don’t want to support them.
It’s not always the case. Leaders, there are truly some people in ministry who are doing a true and real work of God and they just can’t come down right now to come to every engagement they are invited to.
Those in ministry must reach a point of maturity, were they don’t lash out at people. I’m definitely seeing an increase in bickering, backbiting and lashing out at others. The gossip against others in ministry has hit an all time high.
People are getting offended easily and wearing their feelings on their shoulders because someone didn’t respond to them. As a leader, I know that other leaders have their own personal visions and work to do. We should not expect people to be at every engagement that we give.
I would never lose a friendship or dismiss someone from my life because they didn’t respond like I wanted, to an invitation I extend to them. Leaders are acting too sensitive about trivial matters and having attitudes against each other, because people are not able to accommodate their every request.
I have asked God to work on the hearts, minds and spirit of all of us as leaders, so that we can stop acting like spoil children, and realize that it’s not a personal attack, or that people don’t want to support us, but that everyone has things they are doing in the Kingdom that requires their attention.
And yes, I know that some people may be jealous or have issues but not all there are some in ministry that God has a mission and mandate that requires them to focus or to pay more attention to what He has given them to do.
Prophetic Pressure!
Prophetic Pressure has built up to erupt. Heavy demand to usher in a seasonal change from heaven.
The backlog of His promises the accumulation of the years of prophetic words that were released in our lives now shall explode and manifest!
God is performing but you can’t let the distractions overthrow your focus or faith!
No more postponement for some. Release! Release! Release!
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we give you glory and thanks for your precious son Jesus, in whom is the source of your delight! We honor Him with our praises and fix our eyes not on the insults of man, nor the weakness of the human frame but Our perfect Savior Jesus Christ. ” Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. (Isaiah 53:8 NLT). He died for us all!So we might have a relationship with You Father and be saved from this crooked world! Lord remind us to forgive one another and understand “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 NLT).
Holy Father we thank you for your loving presence as you lead your children to victory! Thank you for equipping us for battle!! Thank You for giving us hearts of flesh and not hearts of stone! Thank You for your enduring aggressive love!! Thank you that we are armed and battle ready to” ….put on every piece of God’s armor so you (we) will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you(we) will still be standing firm. (let us) Stand your (our)ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you (we) will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your (our)helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should. (Ephesians 6:13-20 NLT) In Jesus name I pray and give thanks! amen
I give our Lord Jesus Glory! For He is our way maker, our strong tower, our fortress! Praise to Our Redeemer the only worthy of Praise!! Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul, whom was led by the very Spirit of Our Lord and Savior :Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. (2 Timothy 2:3-4 NLT).
Praise Our Lord Jesus! Let us keep our eyes fixed on the Author of Life!!
