Humility Comes With a Price!
“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted,” Luke 14:11.
Bankruptcy is when your natural funds have been depleted, that you had in an account!
Which is how God wants His People in the spirit!
You can’t become full of the spirit until your spiritual funds become depleted and withdrawn in the flesh!
As I was in consecration, I begin to feel as though I had a spiritual withdrawal of myself that God had taken away from me as apart of that consecration.
People, I felt such a withdrawal. It was as though I had been depleted of spiritual funds of who I was. As I began to cry out to God, as He began to fill me up with more of Him, the things I thought were of importance, were no longer.
I began to feel as though another part of me had died. The Joy of The LORD was being released to flow from my soul as a great river.
I feel literally like preaching the gospel! I feel such a joy in my soul! I know God is causing me to die, and I feel a new resurrection of His Spirit abiding in me!
The things I thought were important are no longer important to me! The titles, positions, the things of this world, the people, the places and the pleasing of people, does not matter.
All that matters is that I please the Father and do His Will!
The mindsets I used to have, God is changing them slowly but surely, and I feel a great breakthrough in my soul!
Just God taking me back to the basics and the foundation of pure holiness is like a wellspring of life and rivers of water flowing in my soul!
I thank God for the things he has done and is doing and what he is continuing to do people!
Their is a higher level of God and you must be hungry, tired of you, who you think you should be and willing to surrender all to obtain the deep things of God.
Somethings many are not willing to do and a price they are not willing to pay!
What is humility? It is modesty, meekness, unassertive, being low, and the denying the absence of ones self. It means “lowliness of mind,” and this humility is a heart thing; an attitude, not merely an outward demeanor.
Where men can boast and brag about how great they are but how Great thy God is!!
Some of us so busy taking selfies, bragging about how many assignments you got, how many people watching you on Facebook that you have literally forgotten about the hunger of God; being in his presence and surrendering your ALL to God!
Not knowing this, is where true exaltation comes from a face to face with God!
But you rather brag on somebody else’s victory than to get your own breakthrough!
False humility is prideful. It’s bragging of being humble, using the claim to manipulate or control. It seeks attention and admiration, like the Pharisees who prayed loudly on the street corners so people would know how righteous they were.
But, what many of you need is a good knocking out in the spirit until he knock you out under the power of the Holy Ghost and that old person dies and the new one is resurrected!
But, you on a mission and an assignment to hell and you think bringing the Kingdom to earth is about your one time ticket to the hall of fame instead of pointing folks to Christ; you have begun to point them to how great you have become, causing God’s people to idolize you, instead of God!
You see, I’m not talking about false humility where one may put on an outward show of humility, but still have a heart full of pride and arrogance.
But, I’m talking about the heart of Jesus Christ who said blessed are those who are “poor in spirit” for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3).
Come on somebody, you cannot get filled in the spirit until you decide you are gonna lay down the flesh and pick up your cross!
Being poor in spirit means that only those who are willing to admit to an absolute bankruptcy of the spiritual is worthy to inherit eternal life. Therefore, humility is a prerequisite for the Christian.
It’s when God has to break you down in order to build a new you because the old you is so disgusting and ugly you can’t even stand yourself!!
Jesus was despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, (the perfect example and not some fairy tale stories made up carnal mined men) he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened {not} his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: (rejected) for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
And he made (his voluntary Choice) his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased The LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of The LORD shall prosper in his hand. (What a death to self and so unselfish)
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors, (Isaiah 53:3-12 KJV)
I feel so honored to be chosen by Him! Jesus is our model. Just as He did {not} come to be served, (For those seeking platforms and new titles etc) but to serve, so must we commit ourselves to serving others, considering their interests above our own (Philippians 2:3).
You see, this attitude prevents us from walking in selfish ambition, conceit, and the strife that comes with self-justification and self-defense.
Jesus was not ashamed to humble Himself as a servant (John 13:1-16), even unto the death on the cross (Philippians 2:8). And, neither should we if we are called to be one of His!!
True humility, caused Jesus to always be obedient to His Father (seek His Father’s counsel first and foremost) and so should the humble followers of Christ be willing to put aside all selfishness and submit in obedience to God and His Word.
True humility produces godliness, contentment, and security.
Am I saying I have arrived and I need no more work?
No! But, what I am saying is that I am going from glory to glory as I humbly and hungrily seek his face!
What about you?
Are you seeking a higher height and a deeper debt in God?
If so it will come through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and you want die just one time but many times as he takes you from transformation to transformation building you in His most Holy faith!!
~ Apostle Geraldine Fisher
Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Amen.
