How Will You Prosper Before The LORD?
The LORD wants to prosper you in every facet of your life.
How does this begin? Whether you are a new believer, or have known The LORD for decades, prospering in His sight begins with a gift.
When you start a new job, and you make mistakes as a new employee, there is a change that must take place to solve what is causing your mistakes.
That usually means a “lack of knowledge” or “inexperience” caused a deficit in your productivity.
Your are persuaded to exert more effort to follow what you are being taught to learn the job.
But what “gift ” am I referring to in regards to God prospering you? I refer to it as the “gift of repentance“.
“Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent,” Revelation 3:19.
“And The LORD spoke to Manasseh and His People, but they would not listen,” 2 Chronicles 33:10.
“Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4.
How can you enter the Kingdom of God without repentance?
It doesn’t work that way, does it?
Jesus even says, “Repent, and believe the good news.”
Jesus is the Author and the finisher of your faith. How can He finish the work He has begun in you without the changes that will place when spending time in the presence of The LORD?
Are changes taking place within you? If not, why?
Hebrews 11 starts with “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for;it is the evidence of things not seen.”
In verse 6 of Hebrews we are told that, “Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is God; and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Can we really please Him with the attitudes and misbeliefs we carry with us all day long, while He has been waiting for you to recognize His attempts to speak to you?
For He says, “Your walls are continually before Me!”
Scripture tells us, “He is our peace, He has broken down every wall of partition between us. Casting all our cares upon Him for He cares for you.”
If God has gone so far as to break down your walls in order to reach you, then the repentance He is affording you is a true gift that has a monumental purpose.
To cleanse you from all unrighteousness by the Blood Jesus shed on the Cross.
For this purpose was the Son of God manifest; to destroy the works of the evil one.
Because of His sacrifice, now through the repentance He has afforded you, you have forgiveness of sin, and access to the Father in the Holy of Holies, to seek God face to face.
Now you can prosper in the things of the Holy Spirit.
Now you can prosper in your walk with The LORD.
Now you can prosper in hearing His Voice.
Now you can prosper in the Gifts of the Spirit.
Now you can prosper in the Fruit of the Spirit.
Now you can prosper with integrity.
Now you can prosper in the calling God has given you.
Now you can prosper in overcoming the things that trip you up.
Now you can prosper in your witness.
Now you can prosper in loving others.
Now you can prosper in being an example for others to see.
He has become your victory in place of defeat.
Jesus said in Revelations, “He who overcomes will walk with Me dressed in white,” Revelation 3:5.
“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me…….”
