Message
The ancient paths are opening
The meaning of “ancient paths” is that The LORD is going to give you understanding into the things you are called to. Ancient paths can also be things you are called to from your generational line.
“This is what The LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16 NIV.
The LORD is going to bring about some changes and you will find yourself at a major crossroad. This process includes The LORD helping you make decisions. Watch for divine understanding as you pray.
Greater insight into your family tree
The LORD is releasing understanding into your heritage. Deliverance and the breaking of generational ties will bring generational blessings. Identify generational curses so you can fulfill your generational blessings. This is part of discovering the ancient paths.
The enemy has been using open generational doors to access people and to try to stop the flow of The LORD’s gifts. The LORD is going to reveal more so you can close doors to any attack and open the ancient paths of The LORD’s blessings.
God will direct your steps
“A man’s heart plans his way, but The LORD directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 NKJV.
Don’t be afraid to make plans or step out and try new things. This is how we learn, and it allows us to turn baby steps into bigger things.
Just as The LORD does not expect a baby to walk instantly, you will need to give yourself grace as you walk through the process of discovering your purpose.
Allow The LORD to use your mistakes. If you make mistakes, get back up! This is especially important this year.
The LORD is opening the storehouses
“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.” Deuteronomy 28:12 NIV.
There will be a release of plans from Heaven on how to increase finances and how to help others. Watch for The LORD to release financial blessings in unusual and exciting ways!
The LORD is opening the storehouses of Heaven over you because the storehouses on Earth have been depleted. This goes beyond money, and it applies to everything you place your hands to. This is a huge part of your life purpose.
The most powerful principle
“Jesus replied: “‘Love The LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.””
Matthew 22:37–40 NIV
Jesus referred to this as the greatest commandment. It is not just love in general, but love triune: love God, love your neighbor, love yourself.
As you bring these under the authority and direction of Jesus, you will come into agreement with Heaven, and it is the secret to health and wealth. This is also how you find your life purpose!
The principle of seeking God first
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 NIV
We must first seek God in prayer on our decisions . When you are tempted to jump into something, slow down and inquire of The LORD.
- Ask if what you are doing is for now, later, or not at all.
- Ask for the timing of The LORD.
- Ask what steps you need to take.
The principle of being proactive
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7–8 NIV.
Ask, Seek, Knock has an acronym — ASK
Jesus did not say to sit on the couch and wait for Him to open the door. Although there are times to wait, you can take steps of preparation.
Three power moves for you:
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28 NKJV.
- Decree Bible verses that support your goals.
- Take communion.
- Go on a negative-thought-and-talk fast for the next 21 days.
Bible verses to decree:
“The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:12 NASB.
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 NIV.
