Message
The LORD is releasing new things and bringing you into a time of joy and refreshment!
“See, I AM doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I AM making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 NIV
I don’t know about you, but I sure need a time of change and a shot of joy from The LORD. It is here and available right now!
The LORD is releasing us from the dry times of the wilderness and bringing a new time of refreshment and joy.
Also, The LORD is going to jump-start your ability to hear Him and bring new strategies, plans and ideas.
Deeper healing and double blessing
“Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice … therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” Isaiah 61:7 ESV
The LORD is bringing deeper inner healing and a double portion of joy and blessing.
Be humble and repent first
First, stay humble and ask The LORD to show you if there’s anything you need to change in your life. Don’t beat yourself up!
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:6 NIV
I have been walking through a time where things have not been as clear with hearing God. I’m not sure if it’s just me personally or if something is happening on a greater level.
I want to come into agreement with others and break this attack over myself and those who need this.
Jump-start your ability to hear the voice of The LORD
Jesus often spoke in parables that we’re not always clear with.
“This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’” Matthew 13:13–15 NIV
Doug’s confession
This has been a season that I have not fully understood. But I am trusting The LORD, because His Word is true.
One of the biggest things that can come against our ability to hear The LORD is getting calluses on our spiritual eyes, ears and heart.
Throughout my life, I have suffered from this.
There is great power when you humble yourself and repent, bring the blood of Jesus over your situation and bring it to the true Throne of Grace for forgiveness and healing.
As we do this, it will prepare us for the wave of outpouring of joy and refreshment … and jumpstart the ability to hear The LORD.
Prayer
LORD, we come to You with a humble heart. Your Word is clear that if we confess our sins and we ask in agreement, You will forgive us and restore us.
LORD, I confess on behalf of myself, that I’ve been walking through a time in which my spiritual eyes, ears and heart may have been calloused. I want to break this off right now.
LORD, I repent, renounce and break anything, known or unknown, including generational ties and curses. I pray for deeper healing and the cleansing of my ability to hear Your voice. I need deeper cleansing to have spiritual eyes that see, ears that hear and a heart that understands.
LORD, I ask forgiveness if my heart has hardened in any way.
LORD, I also apply the blood of Jesus Christ to my life and ask forgiveness. Show me if there’s anything I need to change or anyone I need to forgive, including myself, my family, or even You, LORD.
In the name of the true Yeshua of Nazareth, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Shake off discouragement and release the joy of The LORD
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!” Psalm 30:11–12 NLT
The LORD is going to give us new vision. We need to keep our eyes on The LORD and trust!
Don’t give up
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13–14 NIV
The key right now is to not give up, keep moving forward and let go of the past seasons, hurts and disappointments.
Ask The LORD to fill you with His true Holy Spirit, joy and deeper revelation!
Let’s press on to what God is calling us to for this year and beyond. It’s time to break out of the old season and into the new!
Blessings,
