The only safe place to be, is obedience to what God says do!

Many are wondering what or where to go and do, because we know from the Word of God that a storm is coming, and great days of destruction and difficulty.

How does one know for sure what to do to be ready for this storm?

I heard one say, “The only safe place is in God’s hand.” To this statement I agree. It is in His Hand, where we find total protection.

Question: If God speaks to you and says to you….

“There is a storm coming and in order to be safe and not hurt, you need to go do this…. [He points at some place and says….] Be over here!…”

Why is it hard then, for many to understand then that obedience to do what the LORD says do, is THE safe place to be in the storm?

The LORD will never leave or forsake His People, but will in every way, give them a way to escape.

The LORD has a plan. The real important thing we as believers should find out it….

What does the LORD say for us to do?

When you hear Him tell you: just do it!

Scripture

The scripture I give to teach this lesson is found in the 15^th Chapter of 1 Samuel.

The Bible says that Prophet Samuel told King Saul that he had not obeyed the LORD. Because he did not directly obey, Saul was stripped of his kingdom.

Lesson learned? Saul would have been safe if he had only obeyed simply all that the LORD said to do.

The coming storm did sweep Saul away, and his office was given to another.

Where then will it be safe?

Answer: When we obey the LORD.

Where ever, or what ever, He commands to do, will be the safe place.

“Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed [is better] than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), and disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you as king,” 1 Samuel 15:22-23 AMP.
