How Do We Carry This Word of Life?
Keep The Treasure Open!
“For without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that comes to God must believe that He is God, and that He is the rewarder unto those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6.
The Father showed His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
When we were in that state of rebellion, we were not prone to express any kind of love or faith in what Jesus did for us.
But now for those who came to this faith in God; Christ is TheWwisdom of God and The Power of God.
It is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being. The entire structure of your life was totally changed.
It is God Himself Who has drawn us into the position of being a believer. The working anointing of The Holy Spirit has made The Word of Life alive for us who are calling upon His Name; for faith comes by hearing the Rhema Word of God. (Romans 10:9).
For Jesus said, “My Words are Spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)
How are we to carry this “Word of Life”?
Not by might, nor by your own power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. (Zecheriah 4:6, Romans 8:14)
We carry it like the treasure it really is, and treat it as such. For we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellency of the power would be of God, and not of us.
We are carrying the treasure within us when we are yielding to the treasure that is in us. If we put the treasure down, we are not going anywhere, are we?
The treasure is still present after you set it down but it will do nothing for you if you don’t keep the treasure open, and hold forth The Word of Life.
And what is “The Word of Life”? Jesus is “The Word of Life!”
“And The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us. And we beheld His Glory, the Glory of the only begotten Son of The Father; full of Grace and Truth.” John 1:14.
“I AN the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6.
“Everything that the Father has is Mine, and the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name, will take from what is mine and show it unto you.” John 15:16.
“Trust in The LORD with all your heart, and lean not upon your own understanding. But acknowledge Him in all you do and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
“For they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; the shall rise up with wings as the eagle. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
“Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7.
