How Can We Give Him Strength?
“Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty,” Psalm 29:1-4.
In the scripture above, verse 1 says, “give unto the LORD glory and strength.”
I asked Him once how could I possibly give Him strength and He said that when I give Him praise, that He inhabits our praises thus giving Him power in earth as we agree with Him as we sing His word!
Notice the next verse says to worship Him… . He says that He will come and fight our enemies when we do this!
“For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it,” Isaiah 30:31-32.
He fights for us as His voice comes forth from our lips!
We are the ones with the breath of God in us and as we sing His song back to Him He will come on the scene!
This morning as we meet together, let’s just not sing a little song but sing to Him, because we love Him and believe His word! This is our faith in action and our faith
Pleases Him because He knows that we love Him and He loves His lovers and will come and rescue us from our enemies.
Yes, His word in song will empower him to fight our enemies for us! Give Him Glory today!
