How Believable is YOUR Story?
Will everyone understand and appreciate your journey?
Certainty not! Those who know the way of the Spirit though, will!.
Can you imagine how Joseph’s “crazy” story fell on the ears of those who met him, but did not know him?
– “You were hated by your brothers for no reason you say – haaa, who is hated for no reason? Come on that sounds a bit fishy! Surely you must have done something to deserve their hatred!”
– “They threw you into a pit and sold you into slavery? … Really … are you sure you didn’t run off to get to Egypt in search of adventure?”
– “Whaat … You say you landed in prison on account of being on the ‘up and up’? You were ‘innocently’ locked up because a boss’s wife could not keep her hands off you – a common slave…. who then ran away from her bed because of your “integrity” … and that’s what got you locked up?? Yea right!… innocently thrown into the pit again hey …. haaa”.
Yes our “stories” many times may not add up to logic or to human reason – they may even sound far fetched to those who analyse them from a ‘sensible place’.
And yes, they may provide the kind of ammunition some may need to punch us full of holes, looking for, and hoping to find flaws in the armour of our character.
But here’s the wonder – if you have a real and authentic story wherein you followed the LORD, then it does not matter what others think!
See if it’s real, you were not the Author, nor the Director, you were merely playing out a role from a Script that had already been written in advance for you to follow – and you, yes you, were selected and chosen by God from before the foundations of the world was laid, to play your part in seeing His Great Vision become a living reality through your life!

Yes – our lives are not “logic” for the world and the word processors. So they called Joseph a sick dreamer. They called JESUS a demonic possessed who messes up the crowds. They wanted His death. BUT GOD… He made public the true heart intentions of both sides.
