Hoofbeats
I don’t know where we are, in all of this. Some seem to think that they have the answers and they know much. Just as God put certain things in the Church, and scattered His gifts throughout the body, I don’t think any one person, has so much more knowledge than others who have studied, and have also been called.
It came to me recently, that if we are supposed to be talking about Spiritual things, if what we say or write causes more attention to be focused on us, who we say we are or what position we claim to hold, rather than on the Spirit, something is amiss.
There is trouble in the world; a lot of trouble. We have a choice; we can pay attention, or not. If someone never gets out of their state, or their own country, they won’t truly know what’s happening in the world; what’s really going on. When visiting other places, you hear things and see things, that you do not know here.
If we never take the time or opportunity to actually look behind certain things, we’ll never understand what’s causing it. And we may not know, or recognize, that, it was written. The last book of the Bible, never meant much to some of us; because we hadn’t seen it yet.
There are twos things that come to me just now. Years back, way back, a lot of us heard the prophecies and writings of this book, taught and really discussed at great length. We heard that for a reason. God knew many of us would be here longer, than what some people taught.
When certain of those things began to come to pass, we would recognize it for what it was; more than those who were never informed or instructed in such things. I think we walked into tribulation, long before many of us are even aware of today. It is later, than we think. Technology, has moved the needle forward.
4 Horses. I don’t think we’ll solve anything or know any more, by debating about it; attempting to impress each other with what we know. Just as He has done before, the Spirit will reveal things, to those who seek for it.
As you read this Book, and allow the Spirit to teach you, you develop a true understanding, of things you didn’t see or realize before. All of the other works written about these times, did not prepare us for where we are now. It came to me, that if the church was to be raptured in the first few chapters as so many said it would, what was the rest of the book for; and for whom.
Christ talked about being ready; to stay alert, to watch, at all times. The apostles taught the same thing. The enemy could not be given authority to afflict the saints, if the saints were already gone. We can question who’s power is behind many of the atrocities and evil things we see today; further along in this book, it tells us whose power it is.
Horses, seals, trumpets and thunders; plagues, famines, earthquakes, the price of bread, and a church, that won’t repent, for not loving, as He loved. The sound of hoofbeats, and he that hath not an ear, can’t hear it. To hear, we have to first, be listening.
