Honoring The Father
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour,” John 12:24-26 (KJV).
I’m getting more and more homesick for Jesus and the heavenly home He has for me and you.
Beloved, if Jesus had not died, no fruit of salvation for the world would be available for us.
That corn of wheat, the single grain of His life had to die, for life to arise to the Father and eternal life to come to you and me. It is His plan of the ages. And, because He was obedient to the Father, the Father’s great plan of redemption was carried out.
Beloved, you are also grains of wheat that must fall to the ground and die, you must die to self. And, in dying, you shall live… and as you share the good news with others, they also have the opportunity to be saved and live eternally for Him.
Don’t love your own life so much that you would keep someone else from going to heaven.
Take up your cross and follow Him, lay down your life for the life of another, like Jesus did for you.
Everything you say and do has eternal repercussions, and, if you try to preserve your life you will lose it.
HOW BIG IS YOUR JESUS?
God Bless You, you are in my prayers

“I’m getting more and more homesick for Jesus and the heavenly home”
It is – in the midst of this darkness- a wonderful feeling of being ‘homesick’ for the heavenly home, because one can only be homesick for a home that one once knew and one can only return to a place where one once have been.
