Honesty in Giving
THIS IS ABOUT TO GET RAW FOR REAL: What I’m about to say is not for anyone to start a debate, it’s not to say it’s right or wrong, but it’s something that truly irritated my spirit and I sought God for an answer for me.
Preachers, stop telling people they are going to hell because they want to pay tithes.
I asked God about the tithes His response to me was this. If that is where their faith is in honoring Me for being their provisional source and showing Me, that they recognize that all things are provided by Me, then why are you fighting their personal way of showing love to Me for being their provider?
If they want to give Me the first of their substance and it’s a ten percent amount, who are you to judge, rather it’s right or wrong toward me?
The Lord quickly shut me up about that!
But now let me say this for all of you who say they are in sin and going to hell, when you have your meetings and ask all the ones who do give ten percent of their earnings, to not give an offering or seed, since their money is evil.
We always have debates and produce arguments about people giving money to The Lord and His Kingdom work and yes, I know there are crooks and liars and thieves, but everybody is not.
If you want to debate and argue something, why don’t you argue and debate with the government and the Supreme Court about these laws that they are passing that goes against the word and morals of God?
We’re having conferences about why people shouldn’t tithe, but how about conferences about why they shouldn’t sin; why fornication is wrong; why perversion is wrong; why leaders shouldn’t be sleeping with their members?
I don’t understand. We are fighting people for giving into the house of God, but we won’t fight the government in the church, or the world about things that are just evil. If that’s where the person faith level is, let them give and for all of you trying to use New Testament concepts go sit yourself down because you are not giving all your money to the work of The Lord.
Paul would have to take a offering from one church to help another church. They gave to the poor continually, not just thanksgiving, Christmas and sometimes Easter. They fed the hungry on a continual basic, they helped people to have a place to live, they donated their proceeds from the sale of things.
Donate all your proceeds from your books, tapes, and all you sell to the community and church. And if we go on what we purpose in our hear,t some of us won’t give nothing.
Again this is not a debate about tithing, but it is about us condemning people to hell because of their giving.
I will say it again, if this is their way of showing God that they love Him, and honor Him, as His provisional source, why do we condemn them to eternal damnation?
And then I said to God, that is your business and I’m not messing with that one. But those tithing and going to hell persons, have helped many of you preachers to build your ministries. Fight about something, but let’s not put them in hell for giving.
