Holy Discontent on a Merry-go-round
The separating process is constant in My kingdom. In order to have perfect unity there must be a separating. Every day, I AM separating family members, friends, and relationships, unto Me. Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth?
I tell you, No way; but rather division: [52] For from now on, there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three,” Luke 12:51-52. The flesh loves to cling together in groups, according to common interests, projects, and mutual feelings. This fleshly clinging is better known as soul ties. The more you mortify your flesh the more separated and discontent you will feel. When I see you deliberately killing your fleshly desires, to align with My kingdom, you become eligible to enter My separating process.
Relationships and things that were once very precious to you, begin to cause a strong holy discontent. Activities that you once thought were very spiritual, now appear very fleshly. The way you now view the former, is with a sense of disbelief, that you never saw how far you were from kingdom practices. This separating process has always been in existence, but when the entire western culture is fleshly, separation is very difficult and slow. When your teachers and pastors are fleshly, you are born again thinking fleshly is righteous and pleasing to Me. You never think it’s fleshly because you were raised on bible quotes which seemed to make everything, right and righteous.
I this lukewarm western culture, it takes a radical, desperate, fearless, sick and tired person to say, “there is got to be more to God that this religious merry-go-round.” When you come to a place where you say, “I’d rather die searching, than die going in circles”, you are on your way to fulfilling your destiny, 2 Kings 7:3-10. When this mindset finally gives you the courage to step out, that’s where I meet and separate you!, 2 Corinthians 6:17-18. Many come so close to stepping out, but are snagged and convinced by the owners of the merry-go-round that to leave is dangerous and will result in My judgment. As fear grips them, and they hop back on, continuing to go round and round, but this time a little faster, with more and more activity, to keep them from ever entertaining the thought of searching again!
Those who, bound by fear, stay on the merry-go-round will never fully experience, “the unity of faith, and the full knowledge of the Son of God, resulting in a mature man, even measuring up to My stature,” Ephesians 4:13.
O foolish ones, I had so much more for you! who bewitched you, and convinced you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes I had been evidently set forth, and crucified among you? [2] Let Me ask you did you received the Spirit by works, or by the hearing of faith? [3] Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh and continuing to go round and round?” Galatians 3:1-3.
You still have a choice, it’s not too late to be one of the separated and chosen! You can still step out into your calling, as long as you feel that holy discontent, but do not ignore it or bury it in religious activity, because it’s deep calling you deeper into maturity, and it will, if ignored, eventually go away, forever leaving you on the merry-go-round!
