Holidays, Holy Days — A Little Insight On It
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness.” James 1:17.
Good morning.
We know sometimes the enemy — our arch rival — will try to ‘defuse’ a subject.
What his tactics often are, is to bring some ‘good or even different points’ to something you are trying to teach or preach.
If he can divert your message at that moment, it can weaken the impact of your main focus right then.
(Keep in mind it is not that person, per say, but a spirit operating to diffuse the subject.)
Such was the case lately in a recent article I wrote warning strongly against any celebration of ‘Halloween’ whatsoever in any fashion!
Many well meaning people brought out points I feel I must address. They were in the comment section.
This was my answer to several different ones. Keep in mind, I do highly regard their input.
“Thank you for all you brought out. Basically I will send you much of the same comment as to try to stay on tract on this particular article and subject at the moment.
While I appreciate your reply, I do so wish to keep the focus on Halloween and what it is is about and where it came from.
Some things can not or should not be played with.
That is not a rebuke but it gets into other deep studies which I do not feel to go into at this time nor do I have the depth.
People even get into the days of the weeks where they come from.
Also the Gregorian calendar and the Jewish calendar.
God can and does use both!!
I don’t EVER do Santa Clause yet The LORD has taught me to keep Christ in Christmas…
No matter what month we celebrate it, Christ is to be our focus!
God bless you.”
Others may can teach all this out much better than me.
I’m sure too, they can be most technically correct as into ‘pagan holidays’ and where they came from.
That will be their jobs.
Still we shall address different subjects.
All other scriptures will be at the end.
Should we celebrate, say Easter and Christmas, etc?
I do myself, somewhat but in a limited fashion.
That is to say with the proper meaning in it, I often do.
I never want to be bound by a rule-book.
Still if you feel to celebrate or not, you must ‘know’ the very reason you do or you either don’t !!
Also, we must respect others right to choose to celebrate or not to celebrate.
Don’t fight and divide over it!
It should never be about an ‘Easter Bunny or dyed eggs’!
Easter to me is about a ‘Risen Savior’ coming up out of that tomb!
Christmas is not about ‘Santa Clause’ which is an ‘idol’, but Jesus Christ being born!
This Word below has been highly fought. It was written in the pages of one of my books.
The Spirit of The LORD spoke every Word. Still you must judge the Word yourselves.
To do that you must read it it all. Many have called the Word and me both false.
“A Mean Bag of Tricks and More“
People will even take Scriptures out of context in the Old Testament and stick it on us for sure!
It has even been preached wrong in some Churches by well meaning leaders.
I do have a simple Christmas tree and The LORD even uses it.
May you receive the truth and not be bound if you so choose to celebrate on December 25.
That is my hearts cry! Maybe you choose to celebrate Christ’s Birth at some other time? That’s alright, too!
It is not about a ‘Tooth Fairy’ (Why don’t I just throw that in there too?)
Its about Jesus Christ, and every good and perfect gift coming down from above.
Be fully persuaded in your own mind.
Also, some keep the Jewish ‘Holy Days’ in strict observance but some don’t.
Just don’t get bound up in legalism!
Neither throw truth out the door either.
Whatever we do we must do in truth and in Spirit.
Lets keep the love of God in our hearts at all times!
God bless you all.
“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled,” Titus 1:15.
“Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto The LORD; and he that regardeth not the day, to The LORD he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to The LORD, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to The LORD he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto The LORD; and whether we die, we die unto The LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we are The LORD’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith The LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. I know, and am persuaded by The LORD Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin,” Romans 14:1-23.
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death,” Romans 8:2.
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24.

Your very welcome, Adams.
With due respect to you Mama & all others on HKP, I don’t know much about the reasons for Halloween as we don’t celebrate it in my own country but i have read on HKP & seen some scary costumes on it Online.
I will only comment on this current article please. I read Romans 14:14-23 last night & saw these same facts on doing everything for peace, edifying another & unto the Lord. I believe this scripture puts an end to issues like unclean & the much debated Christmas or Easter day celebration that have divided the Church in recent times. I want to say that Christmas & Easter irrespective of their origins or dates as argued by many theologians are days set aside with clear biblical reasons/motives to honour the Birth, Death & Resurrection of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. As Christians, If you disagree with the set dates/days for Christmas & Easter, what about the reasons? Personally, I celebrate my JESUS everyday not necessarily waiting till Christmas or Easter day because HE deserves it. Why not many Christians save their energy from arguing, quarreling, being distracted & divided on these two dates & focus only on JESUS being the reason & the word of God? This will do us much good(unity) than harm(divisions)! Thanks Mama for your maturity, wisdom & politeness in avoiding arguments on this matter & for being focus on your intent of the article.
Adams you got right to the matter! Thank you and very clearly said. May God richly bless you and yours.

You are welcome… blessings to all.
Hi, I just felt from God to share about Christmas… many people celebrate this season some because they believe Christ was born then & others for their own reasons like Santa.
But the truth is Jesus Christ our Lord was actually born in September. Around the 28/29th.
For anyone wanting to know more about this & how this can be proven please go to godskingdom.org where there are blogs & teachings that can back up & prove the truth about his P
Blessings to all
