His Spirit of Discernment is Releasing Freedom
The Psalmist says,
“How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake I am still with you,” Psalm 18-19.
The Thoughts of our loving Father towards us cannot be numbered, these myriad precious thoughts of good and not evil are continually being poured out upon us without number as the sand. The LORD is speaking maturity and higher spiritual discernment.
The most outwardly simple but spiritual difficult thing to do in life is the discernment between good and evil. It is easy to say, but it is a meat only the spiritually mature can chew.
Charles Spurgeon once said;
“Discernment is not a matter of simply telling the difference between right and wrong; rather it is telling the difference between right and almost right. — C.H. Spurgeon
There are difficult situations that many in the body of Christ are going through presently. It could be in the Home, Ministry, Church, Business, Government etc.
These situations look good outwardly — but they are feeble when spiritually discerned.
Recently in an encounter with The LORD; He gave me a vision. In this vision I saw three believers working in a farm.
Suddenly I saw a spirit of witchcraft fall upon one among the three and the one the spirit of witchcraft fell upon, was cunningly deceiving the two.
The spirit fell upon him because he felt he was rejected and not actually under God’s promise . I saw him greatly demonstrate affection for the good work they were doing, but underneath what he was doing, I saw lies, self-ambition, betrayal, backbiting, ego, and pride greatly covered.
Suddenly I saw The LORD come with power and expose these hidden manifestations of the spirit of witchcraft working against the two, and I saw them prevail over him and continued on with the work.
Coming out of this encounter, The Holy Spirit led me to the story of Jacob who escaped the fury of Esau’s hidden envy and wrath.
Jacob discovered Esau’s hidden agenda to murder him because Esau felt denied of the blessing but Jacob was predestined by God to inherit the blessing.
Jacobs’s story went on to reveal him still escaping the hidden envy and deception of Laban. Now as Jacob was returning still being afraid of the wrath of Esau, he encountered The LORD in a great fight.
“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men,and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? and he blessed him there.” Genesis 32:28-29 emphasis added.
After the great fight came the blessing, and Jacob’s name was changed to Israel.
The word translated Israel above is from the Hebrew word yiwrael which means he will rule as God (Strong’s Concordance H3478). From the prevailing of Jacob over deception and manipulation God decreed he will rule as God.
Then The LORD said to me, “Say to My Body, ‘My Spirit of discernment is releasing freedom from the strong holds of deception.
Right now I AM exposing the spirit of witchcraft cleverly fighting against My Body in the fulfillment of my assignments.
Be sensitive and alert, for I AM releasing greater levels of discernment like never before and maturing my bride for what lies ahead, for they will now rule as mature sons of God discerning both good and evil on a higher than before.”
“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil,” Hebrews 5:14.
