His Message is Like a Fire
Sometimes the path may veer off course and run right into that giant blocking your way, that giant of despair and doubt.
So many times if you could just find that undo button, you would have pushed it so many times.
That was how Jeremiah felt!
Deemed the “weeping prophet,” The LORD has led me to this particular prophet. I really get Jeremiah and just want be real for a minute. He wanted to walk away from his calling, he doubted and his faith wavered due to the inadequacy he felt.
He could not speak these things so difficult to speak. I totally get that! I can relate because when The LORD called me out of my well hidden place, I doubted I could do this, I even had those talks with The LORD like you totally have picked the wrong one for this.
I tried to ignore it and explain every reason I could not do it. I have even told The LORD that I am not that eloquent in speaking. As we all know well, The LORD just don’t give up that easily.
Jeremiah prophesied during some very sad times. God had shown Jeremiah what was about to happen to Judah because of their disobedience, and it was disturbing.
In fact, Jeremiah pictured God’s impending judgment upon His People as, “death climbing through a window to take away the inhabitants of the house,” Jeremiah 9:21.
What God showed Jeremiah was so disturbing that Jeremiah said,
“Oh, that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night!” Jeremiah 9:1.
Totally get that too! I have been weeping more and more in prayer and even as I stood just the other night in a ladies conference, I broke into tears due to the overwhelming of His Presence that just overtook me.
It was like stepping into a cloud and it was just me and The LORD. That is best way to describe it! At first I was like what in the world happened to me up there cause I normally did not do that.
But then came the words through a dear friend of mine, Jeremiah “The weeping prophet!” That really stuck with me! It was okay to release in his Presence, it is okay if you get up in a pulpit to speak and totally ugly cry.
It is not about us, but about Him! Not all our messages will be “peaches and cream.” Some messages are difficult to release over some, some things The LORD shows you are difficult to see and hard to hear.
However it is time for more and not just scratching the itchy ears. I know all who minister been there, done that and even got the T shirt!
Why did I go this way today? I just want ask where are those weeping between the porch and the altar. Where are those weeping prophets much like Jeremiah?
It is not a time to loudly condemn, but to sound the call of repentance and Gods saving grace. That loving kindness that will span farther than one can fathom.
Release those voices that break the chains and shatter strongholds. Don’t feel too inadequate that you cannot be used by God. Don’t be afraid to ugly cry, dance, shout in his Presence.
Jeremiah may have been that weeping prophet and to some it may have appeared weak, but he had a mighty fire shut up in his bones.
As dawn rends the darkness, hope arises. Hope is resurrected to slay that despair and shake the foundations of that doubt. In conclusion, as for me I have to say I was tempted to walk away and say I just can’t, I am not that eloquent speaker.
I doubted and the faith wavered. I felt inadequate and who would take me serious. However in the end through my King and only through him I persevered.
Now I open my mouth and let it thunder for Him. That is my prayer daily.
His Message is like a Fire burning inside me! It feels like it is burning deep in my bones! I get tired of trying to hold his message inside. And finally, I am not able to hold it in. (Jeremiah 20:9 EHV)

If a city is not ready, then the alarm must sound.
If a house is not ready, then the house must be moved to a stronger foundation.
To wake someone up in the middle of the night is the right thing to do, even if the rude awakening upsets the one who is asleep!

The thorns are there to protect the rose!
It helps them to not be destroyed or devoured. It helps them retain moisture in the dry and arid climates that they may not only grow and survive, but thrive!
Do you have that thorn in your life?
Have you considered God placed that thorn there for a reason?
Those thorns will cause you to cling to Jesus as a rose clings to a wall. I know it is hard to thank God for a thorn in your life sometimes, but look for the gift in the thorn.
The best and most costliest gift of thorns God gave to us was the crown of thorns placed upon the head of our beloved King Jesus.
The Rose of Sharon wore that crown of thorns. Without the thorns, there would be no roses, without that crown of thorns, there would have been no salvation.
That thorn defends the rose harming only that enemy, that devourer who is trying to steal the beauty and holy fragrance of the blossom!

You go to sleep feeling lost in the fire.
You will not stay lost in this fire, but you shall be built from it. Right now in the middle of your hard place God is going to show up when all the conditions are hopeless and when all the hell is breaking loose.
He is going to show up in the middle of your blackout. Just as you thought your faith had gone to sleep, Here He comes!
As Jacob laid his head upon that rock, the heavens opened up. So whenever you put your mind upon the Rock, our Sweet Jesus, the heavens will always open unto you.
Drag your weary head and lay it on the Rock. Something is going open up for you” don’t give up, don’t give in, you are in the right place and in the right time.
Praise him in your dark place, in your confused place, praise him in your weary place. I know what it is to praise him with my back against the wall.
I know what it is to praise him when I can’t see the way clear. I know what it is to praise him when you are tired and weary.
God would have me to tell you this day that surely He is in this hard place with you. He is the Rock on which you can lay your head. Rest in his assurance that something is going to open up.
This is the place where Heaven opens for you. This is the place where the yoke is broken. This is the place where the enemy is destroyed.
Stay where you are. This is the place where that which existed in another realm just opened up for you. You won’t have to push it, you won’t have to kick it, it will just open for you.
Jacob said he had found the gates of Heaven and he knew surely God was in that place. Amen He is with you! This is the place!
“What the enemy brings in your life to shake you is the very thing God will use to shape you!

Deborah busily exercised her gifts of prophecy and wisdom living up to her name, meaning “bee”.
God’s voice through her, literally pierced the atmosphere! Deborah’s word from God was so powerful that 10,000 warriors without weapons gathered to engage a vicious enemy!
She was that weapon in the hand of a Mighty God speaking his thundering victory!
“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.
Women arise! Wake up and step into God’s purpose! Be that flaming torch that cannot be quenched!
Arise! Wake up and step into your anointing! Lock arms in victory!
When the Queen Bee starts moving, the warriors become activated responding to her instincts.
“Wake up, Deborah, wake up!
Wake up, wake up, and sing a song!
Arise, Barak! Lead your captives away…” (Judges 5:12).

God said there are some with such a spirit of fear right now and He wants you to know that you can overcome anything through Him and His mighty Power.
If you have any form of fear, the devil will find and expose that crack in your foundation. I know there is fear and pain, there is worry and strife and we all have it.
Let God place that healing balm in every area and seal every crack and crevice so that your foundation is secure.
Then turn around and face that devil and let him know that the sign on your life reads NO VACANCY!
“He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.” Luke 6:48.
God does not give you that spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.

You need to move away from those wells that cannot quench your thirst!
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life,” (John 4:14).
… It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
