His House Shall be Called a House of Prayer!
“Bears Paw Den”
In the night I saw a sign and on the sign was printed in capital letters, “BEARS PAW DEN”.
Then I received this Word:
“My House shall be called A House of Prayer, but you have made in the den of thieves.”
We are the temple of God. The house of prayer. The LORD said in His first commandment, “You shall not have any other gods before me…..”
When we let other things into our life it becomes a den of thieves, who try and steal the truth that is there.
The truth then becomes white washed and no longer clear and white, but muddy with sin. We are The Temple of The Holy Spirit.
Paul said to pray always, unceasingly. Jesus called the Temple, A House of Prayer. Therefore if we are The Temple, we are to pray unceasingly, praying in The Spirit, having our thoughts always on what The Father‘s Will is for us in that moment.
We must be willing to see the truth with open eyes, and not try to cover it up with more dirt. If we were to hunt for treasure in the ground we would take a shovel and dig up the dirt to reveal the treasure.
This is what The Holy Spirit is doing in our lives especially in this moment. He is getting rid of all the lies that we have believed about ourselves and about others.
This is the time of purifying The Temple of God.
God is also cleansing the Church. Have we made the Church a marketplace?
Jesus overturned the tables in The Temple that were selling sacrifices and exchanging money. It’s not so different than today.
How far have we gone into sin by making our temple one that is totally different from the one Jesus came to die for and save?
He died for our sins, not for us to take him as a little bit of our life and also have room in us for all the other pet sins we love, to carry and hang onto. If He lives in us, we must live like Him.
Jesus was pure and perfect in every way. He did not ask for money for Himself, He asked that people give up their money give to the poor and then go follow Him.
He knew that God took care of everything He needed, because He said that even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like the birds of the air, and that God provides every little thing they need.
We are to be like those birds, to nestle under his wing and be protected cared for and provided for.
Even when we think we are totally clean and pure, there is always something else in our nature to be worked out, to overcome.
He will reveal what it is by providing times of trial and testing. The testing of our faith will bring to the surface those things in our carnal nature that we still hang onto and revert back to.
Whether it is food, anger, lust, pride, backbiting or greed, these things will surface during times of testing. We are in a season of a perfect storm that is shaking all that can be shaken.
All around us is chaos, stores are closed, money is not coming in, jobs have been lost, people have to live with each other 24/7.
It is a time of dealing with deception, even in the highest levels of government and in The Church.
Things are being exposed so that God can fill His Temple with His Glory. He is preparing the earth to contain Himself.
His very presence will not rest in a temple that is defiled. It must be cleansed by The Blood of the Lamb of God.
David Wilkerson spoke of a time that he saw in the future, one that has been in past revivals to an extent, of the Spirit driving people to The House of God and where they will fall on their face in repentance, because they were in the Presence of the Almighty God and were convicted of their sins.
The Spirit of Repentance is about to fall and all secret sins will be exposed in a moment. If we cleanse the temple now we will experience the glory in a different way.
It will fill us and illuminate our body just as Christ was illuminated on the Mountain of Transfiguration. If not, our sins will be called out as The Holy Spirit shines The Light of Truth on them for everyone to see.
Be a pure and holy temple, able to contain His Glory, the very Presence and essence of the Almighty God.
